Post Malone To Perform Free Concert At Bud Light Backyard In New Orleans

Bud Light is joining forces with chart-topping country music superstar and brand ambassador Post Malone to present “Bud Light Backyard Presents Post Malone” in New Orleans.

The event offers fans aged 21 and over a rare chance to experience Post Malone, a 9x RIAA diamond-certified and Grammy Award-nominated artist, in an intimate setting at The Fillmore New Orleans, a venue with a capacity of approximately 2,000.

Post Malone's free concert will take place ahead of Super Bowl LIX.

This concert continues Bud Light’s tradition of connecting fans with the music and artists they love, following memorable initiatives like A Night in Nashville with Post Malone, The Bud Light Backyard Tour, and the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour.

Earlier this year, Bud Light offered an exclusive preview of Post Malone’s country album at A Night in Nashville and supported the tours of beloved artists like Post Malone, Zach Bryan, and Dierks Bentley.

Kendrick Lamar is set to headline the halftime show for Super Bowl LIX. While it’s anticipated that he may bring a guest artist on stage, the reveal will either come directly from Lamar in the days leading up to the event or as a surprise during the performance itself.

"My name's Kendrick Lamar and I'll be performing at Super Bowl LIX," the MC announced in the clip earlier this year. "Will you be pulling up? I hope so. You know it's only one opportunity to win a championship. No round twos."

In 2022, Post Malone revealed he had been considering recording a country album, emphasizing his desire not to be confined to a single genre of music.

"To be honest, there's nothing stopping me from taking a camera or setting up in my studio in Utah and just recording a country album [to put] on YouTube," he shared on "The Howard Stern Show." "I'm allowed to do that. I'm a human being."

"I split my time between a lot of different things because I am happily obligated to do concerts and show love to my fans, and then I'm happily obligated to write music and make beats by myself, and I'm happily obligated to, you know, take care of my family,” he continued. “So, it's a lot of time, and it's about finding that space to allot that time. If I get another year to myself, maybe I'll make a f-cking country album."

Morgan Wallen and Post Malone debuted their new collaboration, I Had Some Help, at the 2024 Stagecoach Festival, and it’s already being hailed as the song of the summer. But Post’s foray into country music isn’t stopping there, as he recently teased another track.
