Debbie's diagnosis was revealed in September, with reports suggesting she had little time left. According to TMZ, sources say she finally succumbed to the illness on December 2nd, passing away in St. Joseph, Missouri.

While their relationship was fraught with public feuds and intense lyrics aimed at her in his early music, Eminem and Debbie had shown signs of reconciliation.

In 2013, Eminem expressed remorse and extended an olive branch through his song "Headlights," apologizing for his harsh words and acknowledging their shared pain.

Another sign of their possible reconciliation came in 2022 when Debbie made a rare public appearance to congratulate her son on his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

As The Blast reported, the deleted clip, shared by a fan account, showed Debbie seated on her couch in a purple "Shady Records" T-shirt and ripped jeans.

"Marshall, I want to say I could not let this day go by without congratulating you on your induction into the Hall of Fame. I love you very much. I knew you'd get there. It's been a long ride. I'm very, very proud of you," she said warmly.

Debbie also praised her granddaughter, Hailie Jade, commending her for her successful podcast. The now-deleted video was shared with a caption:

"Debbie, Eminem's mom, is very much alive and extremely proud of her son's induction to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame."

The 52-year-old's strained relationship with his mother has long been a topic of public intrigue. While Debbie's gesture suggested a warming of ties, their tumultuous history played a significant role in shaping the father-of-three's career.
