Emily Ratajkowski In Tropical Bikini Faces Backlash: ‘The Most Brainless Person In The World’

Model Emily Ratajkowski is feeling the heat from her followers, not the weather!

The London-born actress has never been shy about exposing her hourglass figure on Instagram, but it seems her followers aren't exactly loving her new snaps.

Pinned to the top of her Instagram page is a photo of Emily strutting down the streets of New York City in a tropical bikini. She accessorized the look with white crew socks, red sneakers, her signature shades, and, of course, an iced coffee that she held in one hand.

Although the photo was an ad for her Inamorata swimwear brand, fans still took the model to task. While “That’s My Girl” singer Camila Cabello gave the photo a like and called her “the baddest,” another user called her “the most brainless person in the world.”

One user accused her of not supporting women with the photograph. “You don't support women; you do the exact opposite!” one user exclaimed.

“Right!” another agreed. “Bring back modesty!” another user replied to the comment.

Although one user told them to “mind your business,” adding, “She can dress however she wants,” another follower clapped back: “She ain’t dressed here.”

“Not her planet,” another added. “She can buzz off to Mars and do whatever she wants there.”

The former Ford model was previously married to Sebastian Bear-McClard from 2018 to 2022. They have one child together. Since that time, Emily has been open about her relationships and has faced criticism for her perspective on sexual expression.

One user called her “the most brainless person in the world,” adding, “Look at the relationships she has had and the people she has been with. Look at the past… there are thousands of drug addicts.”

No one called that user out on their “drug addicts” comment, but one follower did reply, adding, “She’s just looking for attention in any way.”

While some fans love her sculpted figure, others worry that she might be promoting unhealthy beauty standards. “Every time I want to eat junk I need to look at this picture,” one user commented. “Real,” another follower replied.

However, some fans thought that she was promoting a “toxic” version of feminism. “Am I the only one that remembers how toxic the ideology she was pushing?” another user asked. “And now New York City is just in shambles. Everyone hates each other. Oh well, let me just sell a bikini makes some money.”

After being married to a man, the popular model revealed that she “would love to” be in a relationship with a woman, as reported by ELLE. In an interview for HommeGirls conducted over Instagram DM last year, Emily discussed her stance with the magazine’s creative director Jen Brill.

In the Instagram DM chat, Brill asked the model, “Would you ever date a woman?”

“I would love to. Waiting for the right one to come along,” Emily wrote back. “I’ve always been someone who’s more attracted to vibe than specifics of physicality so sometimes it’ll just randomly hit me, and I’ll be like, ‘Whoa, I’m attracted to this person!’”
