Chelsea Lazkani will not let anything get in the way of a detailed divorce process!
The "Selling Sunset" star is speaking up and accusing her estranged husband of poking unnecessary holes in the wheels of the divorce process, causing it to move at a slow pace.

Chelsea Lazkani Wants Every Box Ticked Before Agreeing To Legal Termination
The reality star responded to her soon-to-be ex-husband's request to legally terminate their marriage as they figure out how to settle the terms of the divorce.
According to her attorney, Samantha Spector, Jeff's latest decision was responsible for the delay and inability to settle. Spector explained that Jeff recently chose to retain and to chain to new legal counsel, "which has slowed this case down."
Her client, Chelsea, also noted that she had no issue with terminating the marriage, but the documents tendered by her estranged husband "do not offer her and the minor children sufficient protection and indemnification."
Chelsea and her attorney's response comes after Jeff asked the judge presiding over the case to order a legal separation from Chelsea before their case gets settled. According to In Touch, Jeff stated that irreconcilable differences have led to their marriage's complete and irredeemable collapse.

Jeff declared that he no longer believes alternative measures like time, counseling, or any other assistance by the court can salvage the failed marriage. "Under no circumstances do I believe [Chelsea] and I could resolve our issues and reunify," the media guru added.
He disclosed in his filing that they have not been able to settle the case in the last seven months since they both filed for divorce.
Due to their inability to work things out amicably, Jeff announced to the court that he "would like to move forward with my life and request that this court terminate my marital status." The entrepreneur added:
"I believe that proceeding to bifurcate status will decrease the number of issues that remain between [Chelsea] and I and will streamline the issues and help us better focus on our children and dividing our assets."

Chelsea moved to dissolve the nearly decade-long union with her estranged husband in March due to "irreconcilable differences." The mother-of-one, however, did not indicate a date of separation in her documents but requested her former partner pay her monthly spousal support.
Chelsea and Jeff's love story began when they connected on Tinder and proceeded to get hitched sharing two children: 3-year-old Melia and 5-year-old Maddox.
In response to Chelsea's demands, Jeff asked that the court award him exclusive use of their Manhattan Beach, California, mansion and trash her request for spousal payment.
According to the businessman's lawyer, the former couple acquired the Manhattan Beach Property for approximately $2,900,000 during their marriage. The lawyer noted that they took out a $500,000 mortgage against the property held solely in Jeff's name.
"[Jeff] has a $2,100,000 million separate property reimbursement claim on the Manhattan Beach Property and estimates the fair market value of the property is approximately $4,200,000," the document continued.
The legal rep also disclosed that the company CEO sorts the mortgage, property taxes, and other monthly bills on the Manhattan Beach property without financial contribution from his former lover.
