McGregor is taking accountability for his past, but not in the way anyone expected following his civil case. While he continues to maintain that his actions from six years ago were consensual, he is now publicly expressing regret—not for the accusations, but for stepping out on his longtime partner, Dee Devlin.

The 36-year-old admitted he made a grave mistake by entertaining advances from Nikita Ni Lamhain after a Christmas party in 2018. "I should have shut the party down. I should never have betrayed the woman I love the most in this world," McGregor shared before adding emphatically, "That's all on me."
