'RHOBH' Teddi Mellencamp And Her Estranged Husband Align On Custody But Not On Thanksgiving

Teddi Mellencamp and her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave have a different arrangement for this year's Thanksgiving festivities. The estranged couple will reportedly not be spending the holiday together and their kids are also involved.

Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave recently filed their intention to legally terminate their marriage after over a decade together with two children.

Teddi's famous father, John Mellencamp's home, will open its doors wide to receive the star and her two children for the festive period in honor of their family tradition.

As for Edwin, he will not be a part of the Thanksgiving party as he will also be spending time with his relatives. TMZ confirmed he will use the time away from Teddi to bond with his eldest daughter, Isabella, whom he shares with a former partner.

The new arrangement comes after Teddi and Edwin finally aligned on their preferred child custody arrangement to resolve their divorce process amicably.

Aside from planning in full gear for the Thanksgiving celebrations, The Blast reported that the star took the time to address circulating adultery speculations on Instagram.

She did this in a shared video of herself sweating it out in the gym as Christina Aguilera's "Fighter" played in the background. Teddi paired the clip with a lengthy overlay message detailing her feelings and current headspace.

"The only person who can change your life is you. We have 2 options, pretend to be a victim or stand up and fight for yourself. We all deserve peace and happiness," she began. The star admitted to having "cried and mourned" the loss of her marriage, adding:

"I have taken accountability and apologized for things I have done wrong. Now, I have given myself permission to grow and thrive."

Teddi declared her decision not "pander to the media and tell my side because in the big scheme of things. Clickbait means nothing and of course 3 sides to every story."

The TV personality reminded the public that she was an "adult" who had addressed the matter with her "full chest."

Teddi's long speech did not deter the fans from going in on her. She even accompanied her post with the caption "comments are on" as she seemingly foreshadowed the incoming attacks.

One user wrote, "No, this is called avoidance! You spend every day talking about everyone else's business, and now, when it is up to you to be honest, you have no accountability of your own!"

Another commended the star for leaving the comments on and urged her to tell her side of the story on her podcast. "Guys, I think the accountability has left the room…," a concerned spectator wrote, echoing the same stance hundreds of commenters expressed under the post.

"Well we definitely don't need to know the details of a torrid affair, and it's nice of you to move on so quickly, leaving the destruction of families in your wake," noted this user.

It does not look like Teddi is winning the opinion poll judging by the harsh reaction from fans.

As news of Teddi's alleged affair with her horse trainer hit the waves, some sources came to her defense with incriminating claims about her estranged husband's conduct in the marriage.

The insiders claimed Edwin had broken his marital vows first with a woman named "Missy." A source described Missy as the Teddi's "best friend," while the other noted the women "maybe interacted four times at most."

The extramarital affair allegedly occurred between 2015 and 2016, with an insider claiming it lasted "at least a year."

The other source gave a different timeline, claiming it was closer to "six months." Teddi reportedly discovered the illicit affair during the audition process for "RHOBH" in 2016.

Teddi's bout of infidelity happened with her horse trainer, who was confirmed to be married at the time. The trainer, Simon Schroeder, was away with Teddi on a trip to Florida while his wife, Karli Postel, delivered their child in California. 

The trainer's wife eventually discovered their affair and confronted Teddi, who proposed a deal and assured Karli she would end the affair as long as she kept it a secret. 

However, a very hurt Karli defaulted on the deal and told Edwin about the affair months later after Teddi betrayed her by continuing the relationship with Simon.

It looks like it is no longer business as usual with Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave as they navigate their new normal!
