Nikki Garcia Deletes Instagram Posts After 'Quick' Divorce Settlement With Artem Chigvintsev

The former professional wrestler’s Instagram feed gets a do-over, with no pictures in sight shortly after a mediation process with the Russian pro dancer.

Nikki Garcia filed for divorce from Artem Chigvintsev after he was arrested for alleged domestic violence against her back in August. 

The mom-of-one has cleared her Instagram page of all pictures and content in a supposed bid to start everything afresh now that she is single.

Her new decision involves zero images of her and her sister, Brie Bella, none of her son Matteo Chigvintsev, and certainly not a single brand-sponsored post.

Chigvintsev did not follow in her ex’s footsteps, as he still has a few pictures of her and their time together as a married couple on his Instagram feed. Garcia's decision comes right after the estranged couple decided to drop their restraining orders against each other.

Since Garcia is a very active entity on her social media with over 10 million followers, fans and followers of her content could not help but comment on the latest developments.

This X user reacted to the issue and voiced her support for the actress, writing, "Nikki Bella deleted every Instagram post and starts anew. She is done, and her divorce finalized."

The user applauded her for pulling out of the marriage, describing the dancer as "that woman beater dancer guy. Who shall not even be named. Because he's a loser!" Another interested commenter on X bragged about their prediction on Garcia's marriage ending.

"I already called Mercedes & Nikki Bella divorcing their hubs, I didn't know Nicole would be from domestic violence, but I was telling people they'd get a divorce, & they all did.Alexa is my 3rd prediction of her & hubs getting divorced, I don't think her & Ryan are compatible," the user declared.

Garcia and Chigvintsev reportedly resorted to settlement following a brief mediation process earlier in the month.

The Blast shared that their joint decision to move forward with their individual lives was to prevent the financial hassle of settling their divorce attorneys' huge fees should the case become protracted.

The estranged couple also admitted the process was taking a toll on their mental and emotional health. Hence, it became a necessity to let things go. While they are not exactly friends, Garcia and Chigvintsev have promised to work on their coparenting relationship for the sake of their son.

"Nikki's number one priority has always been her son and privacy on the matter. She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received during this difficult time," a source close to the estranged couple shared.

As part of their effort to keep things as amicable and peaceful as possible, an insider shared that Garcia and her dancer ex dropped their restraining orders against each other.

This will also allow for smooth interaction and coparenting process, as a previous judgment already ordered the couple to share custody of Matteo.

Although the details of their divorce agreement have been sealed from public access, Chigvintsev had earlier requested the court grant his spousal support request from the former wrestler.

No updated information exists on that, but Garcia reportedly ticked the box to block the court from awarding spousal support in her divorce petition.

The divorce process was indeed a tumultuous one, and the dancer's financial woes allegedly began when the former WWE champion accused him of domestic violence.

The Blast gathered that Garcia's allegations led to the Russian's dismissal from "Dancing with The Stars" and directly affected his income. Chigvintsev claimed that he lost over $100k from a lack of gigs due to the bad reputation he got from the case.

He also argued that he experienced a revenue loss from social media promotions as brands terminated their contracts with him. Chigvintsev noted that despite his losses, Garcia continued to profit from social media amid her distorted narratives to the public.

He pleaded with the court that the former wrestler be responsible for sorting all his out-of-pocket expenses because the temporary restraining order against him was granted without solid evidence. Chigvintsev also asked Garcia to sort his rent because he was kicked out of their shared home.
