Rap superstar Cardi B isn’t afraid of keeping her kids in line by any means necessary.
The Grammy-winning entertainer has never shied from telling the world how important motherhood is to her. Now, the “Bodak Yellow” performer is putting her foot down, telling her kids that she better hear good things about them during their upcoming parent-teacher conferences – or else.

Reports from TMZ state that the Bronx-born musician declared her stance during an Instagram Live on Thursday, telling viewers she had no problems taking her kids’ iPads and phones away if their teachers gave her any bad news.
"On my way to parent-teacher conferences. I better hear some good sh-t or else,” she warned.
“iPads will be broken, phones will be thrown in the garbage, TVs will be disconnected, [and] cables will be turned off.”
“I am not playing,” she continued. “I am that type of mom.”
After a beat, Cardi admitted that she was just “kidding.”
“I won't do all of that, but I hope I hear some good sh-t," she said.
Cardi shares three kids with fellow rapper Offset: 6-year-old daughter Kulture, 3-year-old son Wave, and a third child, another girl, born this September, as reported by E! News.

Though clearly joking in her Instagram Live, Cardi B has shown in the past just how serious she is when it comes to being a mother of three young children.
Back in October, the 32-year-old responded with rage after a prankster called Child Protective Services to her home in the middle of the night with allegations that she was abusing her children.
Billboard notes that the singer appeared to be in the hospital at the time of the incident, but had more than enough strength to let the perpetrator know that she would get to the bottom of the situation.
“Child Protective Services [came] my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my children [were] sleeping, because there [was] an anonymous call that my kids have been getting abused and beaten,” she relayed.
“Are you f–king dumb?,” Cardi asked. “This is when the pranks start getting too far - when you a-sholes think it’s funny.”
After explaining that she nor Offset ever abused their children (“We take very great care of our kids”), she claimed she would be looking into legal action to uncover who made the call – but also insinuated that the prankster better hope she didn’t find them first.
“If you’re a boy, my baby father is gonna beat you the f–ck up,” she threatened. “If you’re a woman, me and [my sister] Hennessy are gonna beat you the f–ck up, because you playing with my mother-cking kids.”
Cardi B Keeps It Clean With Her Children, Despite Being A ‘Sexual’ Rap Star

In a more lighthearted moment, a viral video of Cardi quickly muting her 2021 raunchy hit, “WAP,” with Megan Thee Stallion, also showed fans that she’s raising her children with the utmost care.
In the clip, taken from another Instagram Live session covered by Billboard that January, Cardi can be seen dancing to the song at her home while enjoying a glass of wine. As her verse begins, a young Kulture can be seen walking into the living room to be near her mom.
Once Cardi notices she’s no longer alone, she quickly cuts the song off and pretends to simply be enjoying her drink.
“No, no, no, no,” she yelps, before lifting the glass to her lips.
Cardi later defended her decision not to let little Kulture, then only 2-years-old, overhear her no. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit.
“I don’t make music for kids. I make music for adults,” she told naysayers who claimed she had an “agenda.”
“Parents are responsible [for] what their children listen to or see,” Cardi continued. “I’m a very sexual person, but not around my child - just like every other parent should be.”
Cardi B Isn’t Sharing Her Youngest Daughter’s Name Publicly Just Yet – At Least, Not All Of It

Earlier this month, Cardi showed off a bit of bling that honored her three kids, including her youngest daughter.
In the reposted clip, per PEOPLE, the rap star can be seen wearing several diamond bracelets by famed jeweler Elliot Eliantte. On each bracelet, one of her kids’ names can be seen – Kulture on top, Wave in the middle, and a third that she partially covers with her thumb, though the letter “BL” appear to be close together.
“Ya’ll can’t see my [youngest] daughter’s name yet,” she told the camera, “So, I gotta hide the last one. Just know the whole f-cking wrist is Eliantte, b-tch.”
She then twists her arm around for a moment, and two more letters can be viewed: “OM.”
With these clues, along with Cardi noting her daughter’s birth back in September with flower emojis, fans of the performer came up with two guesses – Bloom or Blossom.
Cardi B May Be A Proud Mom, But She Hasn’t Forgotten Her Rap Career – Or Her Heart
Though she’s been rather busy being a single mother – she and Offset are currently separated – Cardi hasn’t forgotten the talent that brought her fame and accolades.
After months of speculation and occasional teases, she promised fans just recently that her long-awaited following to 2016’s Invasion of Privacy would finally be coming, along with a new business venture, sometime in 2025.
“I have so much things coming next year,” she revealed in another Instagram Live, covered by Billboard. “My album will be out. My secret businesses will be out, [and] hopefully,” she continued, “next year, I get a little boyfriend.”
