Talk show host Whoopi Goldberg is beaming with pride over her slimmer figure.
On the latest episode of "The View," the actress proudly flaunted her new look while interviewing guest fashion designer Christian Siriano.
Earlier this year, Whoopi Goldberg revealed she achieved her weight loss with the help of the medication Mounjaro.
Whoopi Goldberg Is Proud Of Her 'New Body'
On Thursday's episode of "The View," Goldberg proudly showcased her slimmer figure while chatting with her co-hosts and guest fashion designer Christian Siriano.
Siriano kicked off the conversation by praising the set, which featured mannequins dressed in his signature designs.
"The is the most stunning set I've ever seen ever, that I've ever done, thank you so much, this is like incredible," the fashion designer remarked, per Daily Mail.
Next, co-host Sunny Hostin agreed with Siriano's remarks, while Sara Haines revealed that all the co-hosts were wearing his creations.
Goldberg then joined in, confidently asking, "You haven't seen me in my new body, have you?'" before standing up to flaunt her transformed figure.
In response, Siriano told Goldberg that she looked "incredible" before complimenting her stunning black blazer, which she wore over a chic white shirt.
"This coat was made for you; it's yours; you get it," Sirianoo added, which prompted Haines to squeal, "Ooooooh, Whoopi!" while in shock.
The Comedian Admitted She Used A Weight Loss Drug
Earlier this year, Goldberg revealed on an episode of "The View" that she used the weight-loss drug Mounjaro to achieve her recent transformation.
The "Sister Act" star shared that she turned to the medication after her weight climbed to nearly 300 pounds while filming "Till" in 2021.
"I will tell you, you know, I weighed almost 300 pounds when I made Till," Goldberg admitted, per Daily Mail.
She explained that before using Mounjaro, she had tried other methods to lose weight, but none were effective.
"I had taken all those steroids; I was on all this stuff, and one of the things that has helped me drop the weight is the Mounjaro... That's what I use," she disclosed.
During the same episode, Sunny Hostin also admitted that she had used the same weight-loss drug, Mounjaro, as Goldberg to shed the extra pounds she gained during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"All I did was eat... I love to cook, and I found out I love to eat, and I was horrified by the fact I would have to come out on here, I was" she said, adding, "I also took Mounjaro."
Whoopi Goldberg Called On People To 'Stop Judging Everybody'
Later, Goldberg urged people to "stop judging everybody," especially when they are battling issues like weight.
"Maybe that's the key. Because, listen, when I realized how much I had put on, because... I always felt like me. And then I saw me, and I thought, "Oh, that's a lot of me,"' the actress said.
Goldberg added that she has never been personally concerned about what others might say about her weight.
However, she acknowledged that her perspective might differ from others, particularly those who may need a clearer understanding of what constitutes a healthy weight.
The comedian continued, "And my weight has come and gone up and down, but it's never been an issue for me because I don't listen to what other people say about me, so it has never been a problem. But I think it's very hard for people to just know what a normal weight would be."
The Actress Has Talked About Her Weight In The Past
On other occasions, Goldberg has been open about her weight and once discussed how she lost 35 pounds after realizing she weighed 217 pounds at the time.
"I happened to notice that I had begun to look like a linebacker,'" she shared, recounting her motivation to shed the extra weight in a 2014 interview with ABC News.
Goldberg also credited her then-co-host Sherri Shepherd for inspiring her to take action and for helping with tips on how to get the weight down.
"I happened to look over and there was Sherri, skinny, and I said, 'What did you do?' She said, 'I've been doing Rocco DiSpirito's one pound a day diet.' I said, 'Please, I want to do it too.'"
She added that she had been following the diet since November of the previous year and had also made the decision to quit smoking completely.
Whoopi Goldberg Came Under Fire For Remarks Made About An NYC Bakery
The talk show recently faced backlash after she claimed on "The View" that an NYC bakery denied her service due to her politics.
While sharing some Charlotte Russe desserts with her co-hosts on her birthday, Goldberg made the claim.
"Now, I should tell you, Charlotte Russe has no political leanings, and the place that made these refused to make them for me," the outspoken actress said on the show, drawing strong reactions from the audience and co-hosts.
She continued, "They said that their ovens had gone down, all kinds of stuff, but folks went and got them anyway, which is why I'm not telling you who made them."
The "Ghost" actress then added that her order wasn't taken not because she's a woman but rather because "they did not like my politics."
The NYC bakery, Holtermann's Bakery, has since denied refusing to serve Goldberg because of her "politics," noting that they had a boiler issue.
There have also been calls made by top NYC politicians demanding Goldberg apologize to the bakery.
