Shannon Beador is showing proof of letting bygones be bygones between her and her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen.
The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star uploaded visual evidence of her settling the loan, which was the bone of contention between her and her former lover, and the commentaries are trickling in in their thousands.
Shannon Beador and John Janssen embarked on the legal tussle in March after he accused the reality star of defaulting on a huge loan he gave her for a cosmetic procedure during the duration of their romance.
Shannon Beador Wraps Season 18 With Wire Transfer To Her Former Partner John Janssen
The Bravo star posted a picture of the payment document and captioned it, "That's a wrap Season 18…#rhoc." She highlighted a section that stated "John Janssen settlement in full," accompanied by his residential address in another column.
Beador tagged her former partner's handle and that of Alexis Bellion to take note of the latest development. Her comment section became swarmed with fans who had one or two opinions on the entire drama between the former couple.
The opinion poll seems to be in Beador's favor as one obvious supporter wrote, "Out with the old and in with the new!" as another commenter praised Beador for handling herself like a queen through the entire legal episode.
"Don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya, John! Bye!," wrote this user. A devoted fan of the reality star declared, "Don't be surprised when you come back to NY and see this as my phone background," with another user adding:
"I hope they can take that $60,000 and shove it."
One sympathetic fan encouraged the "RHOC" star, writing, "I'm happy this chapter is closed Shannon .. you handled it with grace & dignity.. don't give Tamrat any chances she showed us exactly who she is ..and I hope the J's just eff off someplace we never have to see again."
Beador Filed An Official Notice Of Settlement Of Entire Case Last Friday
Beador was eager to move on from the drama and protect her pocket from further unnecessary expenses. Hence, her attorney informed the court of her intention to settle the financial dispute.
The Blast noted that the document filed in Orange County Superior Court last Friday signaled the end of Janssen's $75,000 lawsuit over the alleged facelift loan.
Although the star's legal rep established their confidence in her ability to win the case, Beador ultimately decided to settle to avoid the costly legal fees. Her attorney, Dave Beitchman, noted:
"I have no doubt in my mind that Shannon would prevail, but the cost of defending the case would easily be more than the amount sought."
He also commended his client for "taking the high road" and choosing closure over further conflict. "While she was certainly prepared to fight for the truth, I congratulate her on taking the high road and putting this matter behind her," the attorney stated.
Beitchman affirmed that Beador's choice to settle was both a "smart emotional and financial" move, calling the lawsuit's premise "shameful."
The Former Lovebirds Initially Rejected Settling Outside Court Trial
Beador's decision finally settles months of courtroom tension that peaked back in September when both the 60-year-old and Janssen established to the court that they had no intention of settling the case outside of a trial.
Their attorneys stated, "At this time, the parties do not believe mediation or arbitration would be fruitful." They also noted that the former couple were "waiting to receive discovery response."
Janssen alleged that his ex borrowed $40,000 for a facelift and later requested an additional $35,000, failing to repay either amount after their 2022 breakup.
The Reality Star's Legal Rep Claimed John Janssen's Alleged Loan Was Simply A Gift

The Blast reported that Beador's attorney stated that the money was not a loan but rather shared funds while they were an item. The lawyer established that the former couple "were in a romantic relationship for over four years," which means financial gifts were not unexpected.
During the relationship, the parties regularly shared their finances and assisted each other during tight financial situations. The attorneys pointed out that these funds were only labeled as a "loan" after their 2022 split turned bitter.
In a sharp rebuttal, Janssen's lawyer accused Beador of trying to evade her financial obligations, insisting she never intended to repay the loans. "Shannon knew when she made her false promises and representations that Shannon did not intend to pay for such services," the attorney noted.
Shannon Beador Had A Tough Time Filming New Season Of 'RHOC'
Beador's cup got full and ran over amid her legal drama and filming her show's 18th season. She admitted that filming was not easy, as she was forced to address some deeply personal struggles.
She had to talk about her DUI arrest and a terrible breakup with longtime boyfriend John Janssen just as the cameras began rolling. The reality TV star confirmed that these experiences left her in an emotionally vulnerable place, making it "very difficult to go through."
The burden of filming during such personal upheavals took its toll, pushing her to review her commitment and agreement to appear on the show.
Although nothing has been confirmed about her plans for next season, she noted that her choice to return would largely depend on the dynamics of the cast. "[It] depends on who I would be on the season with," the screen goddess declared.
Now that the dust has settled between Shannon Beador and John Janssen, will there be more drama in the future?
