'RHOP' Ashley Darby Finally Settles Her Divorce Over Two Years After Separation

Ashley Darby and her estranged husband, Michael Darby, have finalized their divorce process.

The estranged pair have reportedly reached a peaceful settlement to their marriage annulment aided by the availability of a prenup.

Ashley Darby has reportedly stalled the process of leaving her marriage for a while, as seen on several seasons of her reality show "RHOP," until now when she decided to take the giant leap.

Ashley's decision is reportedly long overdue, considering the fact that she has separated from Michael since April 2022. The Bravo star's filing is already good, with sources close to the estranged couple sharing that they have reached "an amicable and fair settlement."

Ashley's lawyers reportedly filed their agreed settlement with the court today, highlighting their decision to share custody of their two children, Dean and Dylan.

Per TMZ, the star has reportedly dragged her feet regarding filing the paperwork but has promised to shed more light on the divorce at the show's reunion when she appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen.

Ashley confirmed her shocking breakup with Michael back in April 2022. The star shared that she and her husband of almost a decade had decided to part ways.

"Almost eight years ago, when Michael and I said 'I do,' we anticipated sharing every single day together from that moment forward. Unfortunately, that is not our current reality. We have decided to separate," the star began in the lengthy post on her Instagram account.

"While our romantic bond is broken, we will always love and respect each other. We also know that true happiness can only be achieved by continuing to work together and putting our hearts and souls into raising our two beautiful boys," the public figure added.

The reality star eventually moved out of her shared home with Michael and debuted a short romantic relationship with "Summer House" star Luke Gulbranson.

Following the breakup from Gulbranson, the star declared that she is dating, but has resorted to remaining tight-lipped about the state of her new romance.

Talk about a self-aware queen! According to The Blast,  Ashley admitted in her announcement that she and Michael understand there will be a lot of speculation surrounding the split. In her words:

"There will be many speculative views as to why we have made this decision. People will be quick to assume that the causes were too much intrusion by reality TV into the most personal parts of our lives, age gap issues, cultural problems, or child-rearing differences."

The star noted that while the factors above could have played a huge role in their separation, she clarified that they were in "very different stages in our lives," and the split was the next best thing on their journey together as a couple.

Ashley and Michael's split comes on the heels of another set of infidelity rumors in her marriage. In the sixth season of RHOP, the business was called out after being pictured at a bar allegedly chatting up a mystery woman. 

At the time of the report, Ashley was away on a girl's trip with the rest of the cast, where the news was reportedly broken to her. She reportedly reacted awkwardly to the development, given that she was so hesitant to travel in the first place.

But that is not the first time he has been accused of stepping out on his wife. In fact, the Australian has spent a chunk of his time on the show debunking cheating allegations. 

He was previously accused of being overheard saying he wanted to give fellatio to fellow cast member Robyn Dixon's Husband, Juan Dixon. Micheal was later accused and had charges brought against him (later dismissed) for assault on a crew member while filming an earlier season of "RHOP."

Ashley's decision to move on with Gulbranson was not exactly music to her estranged husband's ears. Per The Blast, she noted that the duo met, and he was not impressed with the conduct of their romantic affairs.

"So Michael has seen Luke," she admits and noted that the businessman didn't seem "too fond" of whatever the situation is. 

She shared that he was even less impressed with the picture she and Gulbranson shared on the social media pages of their hockey date night. "It's probably not his wallpaper on his phone, for sure."

Despite her former husband's reaction, Ashley vowed never to let anything disrupt her single era, as she admitted to intentionally uploading the picture even at the risk of upsetting a few people, including her ex-bf's ex Ciara Miller.
