'Where The Pros Smoke': Aces' Star Kelsey Plum Unveils Signature Cigar Collection At Eight Lounge

Las Vegas Aces' star Kelsey Plum will be hosting an event at Eight Lounge on Thursday, Nov. 21 to unveil her signature cigar collection.

Opened in 2021, Eight Lounge at Resorts World Las Vegas offers a sophisticated haven for both discerning cigar aficionados and cocktail connoisseurs alike. 

With 7,000 square feet of comfortable and stylish space, Eight Lounge offers two exclusive private smoking rooms, a 2,200 square foot outdoor terrace, and a state-of-the-art walk-in humidor stocked with more than 150 of the world’s finest cigars. 

Named for the significance of the number eight in Chinese culture, the lounge space offers plush seating, elegance, comfort, and much more. 

And you don't have to be a cigar lover to enjoy a night out at Eight Lounge. Scott Diel, Marketing Director at Clique Hospitality, explained that the lounge "delivers far more than premium cigars; it's a destination for those seeking expertly crafted cocktails, gourmet bites and an effortlessly chic atmosphere."

"Its reputation has attracted a star-studded following, adding an air of excitement to every visit," he said. Eight Lounge is known for exclusive and special events and for being the spot "where the pros smoke." On Thursday, Nov. 21 from 6 to 9 p.m., Las Vegas Aces' star and cigar lover Kelsey Plum will be at Eight Lounge for an exclusive event celebrating her new Kingmakers signature cigar collection. 

“Guests will be able to mix and mingle with the iconic Las Vegas point guard and Olympic gold medalist at the lounge known as ‘the place where the pros smoke’ for an evening that will include a who’s who of cigar fans,” Diel said.

“Plus, with it being Formula 1 week, you never know who may make an appearance.” 

In honor of Plum's Kingmakers debut, Eight Lounge is offering an exclusive pairing of her new signature cigar with their Peanut Butter Chocolate Martini. The pairing, only available during the event, is priced at $80. After the event, Plum's Kingmakers cigar will be available in the lounge's humidor and on the menu for $65.

Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth visit, each experience can be a very different one.

The lounge hosts a variety of recurring and special events every month.

Football enthusiasts can enjoy professional football viewing starting at 5 p.m. every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday during football season, featuring game day food and beverage deals and the occasional superfan guest host.

Another upcoming event is Havana After Dark on Thursday, Dec. 19. The lounge's spacious patio will come alive with rhythms of Havana, celebrating Cuban music and dance. Beginning at 8 p.m., Puro Vicente and the Space to Pace band will perform while a professional instructor leads guests through salsa, mambo, and cha-cha at 9 p.m. There will be a DJ playing a mix of Latin and top 40 hits between sets.

On New Year's Eve, Eight Lounge will usher in 2025 with a celebration beginning at 8:30 p.m. Gourmet bites, cocktails, premium cigars, and a live DJ will help everyone say goodbye to 2024 in a fun and memorable way. Adding to the excitement, Eight Lounge's patio will offer a front row seat to the Las Vegas Strip fireworks.
