Christmas is all about giving, and Netflix plans to give fans worldwide the best gift this season with Beyoncé's help.
The streaming giant joined forces with the NFL and the sensational singer for its first-ever broadcast of the football game's famous halftime show.
The Houston Texans are set to face the Baltimore Ravens on December 25, 2024, with Beyoncé headlining the halftime performance. She announced her participation in a sizzling promotional clip.
Beyoncé's Cowboy Era Just Got Better!
Since releasing her first country album, Beyoncé has broken numerous records and topped various charts. Now, she is bringing her hit "Cowboy Carter" project to her hometown of Houston, Texas.
She revealed her headlining act for the upcoming NFL halftime show on X, sharing a video set to her "American Requiem" track. The clip captured Queen Bey standing on the hood of a vehicle adorned with roses, longhorns, and a "BRNCNTRY" license plate.
The "Texas Hold' Em" singer continued the dress code from her cowboy album era, rocking a leather dress with red, white, and blue colors. She accessorized the sexy number with her signature cowboy hat and effortlessly caught a football while serving her never-aging face card.
Not only would Beyoncé take the stage in her hometown, but her halftime performance would be streamed for the first time on Netflix. The platform teased that fans were in for a treat, noting the singer would be joined by unnamed guests who contributed to her hit country album.

While scoring the headlining act at the halftime show is a fantastic achievement, it is also a testament to how successful Beyoncé's country album is. Thanks to her "Cowboy Carter" project, she became the leading nominee for the 2025 Grammy.
Her achievements did not end there, as she broke records as the most nominated artist in history. Beyoncé scored nominations in the country and American roots categories for the first time as well, with a total of 11 nods.
The beloved singer snagged nominations in top categories, including Album of the Year, Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song, and Best Americana Performance. The list continued with a nod in the best country duo/group performance, per USA Today.
The 'Cuff It' Hitmaker Was Not Honored At The People's Choice Country Awards

Despite her successful country album, Beyoncé received no honors at Country music award shows. The Blast shared that the People's Choice Country Awards acknowledged the singer with 17 nominations but zero trophies.
The shocking outcome occurred in September, with Beyoncé going home empty-handed despite being the most nominated female artist. A fellow newcomer to the country music scene, Shaboozey, was disappointed by her lack of recognition.
He paid tribute to Beyoncé during his acceptance speech for Best New Artist, calling her "amazing." Shaboozey wasn't the only one shocked by the snub, as fans called out the CMAs weeks earlier for not honoring the singer's country album.
The CMA Awards Face Racism Claims Over Beyoncé's Snub
While the People's Choice Country Awards acknowledged Beyoncé with 17 nominations, the CMA Awards gave her none. The lack of nominations did not sit well with fans, who called out the organization as being racist.
Someone compared the difference between Beyoncé and Post Malone's treatment on X, noting that only the rapper was honored despite them being newcomers to country music. Their claims partly read:
"Somehow, Post Malones song received 4 nominations at the CMAs while Beyoncé's received 0."
Another conspiracy theorist echoed similar sentiments, writing: "I knew they were going to find a way to snub Cowboy Carter. Racist ass award show."
Will the 2025 Grammys be a different experience for Beyoncé, or will she be snubbed despite her nominations?
