Bella Thorne Shamed In 'Nearly-Nude' Bikini On Miami Beach

Bella Thorne turned heads with her skimpy bikini display in 2016, and the photos are still live. Enjoying time with sister Dani Thorne, the actress soaked up rays on Miami Beach that year, showing off her sensational figure while rocking the micro swimwear trend. Sizzling on sands after an ocean dip, Bella had The Daily Mail documenting her "nearly-nude" bikini, although the comments section didn't send her much love. While some praised the Midnight Sun star for her fit and curvy figure, others shamed her for showing too much, even calling her trashy. Bella, 26, was aged 18 at the time of the photos.

Choosing a two-tone swimsuit in tan and black, the Florida-born sensation stunned in her busty two-piece, going skintight and with a halter top accentuating her chest.

Glistening with water droplets all over her skin, Bella sported her drenched locks down, going makeup-free except for a little leftover eyeliner and eyeshadow. Wearing multiple necklaces, rings, and a bangle, Bella added a fancy wristwatch, with the candid shots showing her accompanied by her sibling, also bikini-clad.

Fans also saw Bella sunbathing and running around the beach once on dry land. Here, the Thorne Dynasty founder got her heart rate up while barefoot, letting her locks fly around in the ocean breeze. Comments came in fast.

"She's beautiful, there's no denying that, but these photos make me think she didn't quite get the attention she needed while growing up," one user wrote. "Neither have taste in bikinis or sunglasses," another said. In August 2022, she made it a Hot Girl Summer in this mismatched bathing suit, posing from the water and on Instagram as she rocked a jewel-encrusted, thong bikini in yellow and hot pink. Accessorizing her swimwear with butterfly-charm belly chain jewelry while flaunting her backside, she wrote: "This is Ariel now, feel old yet?"

Bella Thorne joins the list of stars who have been body-shamed.

“For a good percentage of people, me included, I can’t help but not let it affect me in some way and of course and want to say something and correct somebody,” she revealed in 2017. “And it’s good that people see that you stick up for yourself, [because] it makes other people think ‘OK I’m going to stick up for myself, too.'"
