On Thursday, November 13, Jennifer Lawrence showed off her baby bump as she made a stunning appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of the "Bread & Roses" documentary.

"Bread & Roses" is an Apple documentary that shines a spotlight on the challenges faced by women in Afghanistan following the Taliban's return to power. Produced with the support of Lawrence and Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, the film tells the stories of three women who fight to regain their autonomy in the face of oppression. Yousafzai, who was also in attendance at the Los Angeles premiere, is a key figure in the film's creation, bringing attention to the critical issue of women's rights in Afghanistan.

During her Vogue interview, Lawrence also voiced her strong stance on gun control, questioning how anyone could choose to have children and not support efforts to restrict access to guns.
“I’m raising a little boy who is going to go to school one day. Guns are the number one cause of death for children in the United States. And people are still voting for politicians who receive money from the NRA," she told thee outlet last year. "It blows my mind. I mean if Sandy Hook didn’t change anything?"
"We as a nation just went, Okay! We are allowing our children to lay down their lives for our right to a second amendment that was written over 200 years ago," she continued.

In September 2022, Lawrence confirmed that she welcomed a baby boy named Cy Maroney in February.
"It’s so scary to talk about motherhood," she said, per PEOPLE Magazine. "Because it’s so different for everybody. If I say, 'It was amazing from the start,' some people will think, ‘It wasn’t amazing for me at first,’ and feel bad.”
