Kate Beckinsale In Minuscule Shorts Worries While Needing 'Some Meat' On Her

Kate Beckinsale has spent much of 2024 sparking weight worries, although she did make summer headlines for addressing her weight loss and explaining the reasons behind it. In August, the British actress updated her Instagram to mark her attendance at a fun Pomeranian dog party, reminding fans of her dog-lover status while showing off her super-slim figure. Embracing her signature quirky style, Kate put on a leggy display in a teeny pair of shorts and sheer top combo, but for some fans, her body was more worthy of discussion than her outfit. As fans worried for Kate's health, one told her that those legs needed "some meat on them."

The Pearl Harbor star, best known on the pet front for cats Clive and Willow, looked incredibly slender in a summery white pair of shorts teamed with a semi-sheer top to match.

Displaying her long, toned legs and tiny waist, Kate peeped a skimpy tan pair of shorts beneath her white ones, wearing massive knee-high and buckled black boots while going girly in a frilly blouse with lace embellishments.

Flashing her bra beneath her shirt and towering in her platform boots, Kate rocked pink-dyed hair, adding coquette touches from a black hair bow. Anyone swiping saw Kate surrounded by a sea of guests at the bash, one including outdoor lawn moments and a veritable farm's worth of animals.

In a caption, Kate wrote: "Well that was a first ... @empirestateofpoms was a Pomeranian bonanza and thank you so much for having us at your first Los Angeles Pom party, @prettyconnected. I am perturbed that out of all these dogs, Myf’s bumhole was sniffed avidly more than anyone else’s but I am choosing to take it as a positive."

Skinny-shaming Kate and going right for her weight, one fan gained 40 likes for saying: "Put some meat on those legs jeez."

Kate Beckinsale did not ignore the comment. Firing back, the 51-year-old wrote: "Put some meat on that - maybe then you’ll have more confidence and won’t feel the need to stoop so low as to just comment negatively on women’s bod." This wouldn't be the first weight-related cla-back from Kate, who fired back at a fan telling her to do some "squats" in July.

Explaining her weight loss after being told to build up her backside, Kate Beckinsale said:

"No, actually, I watched my stepfather die quite shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief..."

Fans do know that Kate's ordeal landed her in the hospital for a six-week period earlier this year.
