Patrick Mahomes has expressed his frustration over the burglary that took place at his Missouri mansion last month, describing the situation as "disappointing."

As The Blast reported, the break-in at Mahomes' Belton, Missouri estate occurred around midnight on October 6, just hours before his teammate, Travis Kelce, experienced a similar burglary at his Leawood, Kansas home. Both break-ins are believed to be part of a larger wave of criminal activity in the area, which took place just before a key game for the Chiefs, who were set to face the New Orleans Saints in a "Monday Night Football" matchup at Arrowhead Stadium.

The burglary at Mahomes' estate was reported to authorities by the Cass County Sheriff's Office around midnight on October 6.

"Obviously, it's frustrating," the NFL quarterback said at Wednesday's press conference. "It's disappointing." He added, "It's something you don't want to happen to anyone, but especially to yourself."

It is still unclear whether Mahomes or his family were at home when the burglary occurred, and it's unknown what, if anything, was taken from the property. The investigation is ongoing, but no arrests have been made at this time.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback did say he expected details of the incident to be released at a later date.

Earlier this year, an American man who had made threats against Travis Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was arrested.

The 34-year-old suspect was preparing for Swift's performance at the Veltins-Arena. However, his plans were disrupted when police intervened during the venue’s entry checks. As excitement filled the air, the atmosphere shifted when authorities detained the man, raising concerns among Swifties about potential safety risks.

Police confirmed with Deadline that the man had issued threats against Taylor and her partner online, prompting immediate action. Thanks to tips from event organizers, authorities were able to secure the safety of both the pop star and her fans, holding the suspect in custody until the concert series was completed.

In January, a seemingly obsessed Taylor Swift fan, identified as David Crowe, was repeatedly caught lurking around the pop star's New York City residence. Crowe was arrested three times for his behavior, with his most recent arrest occurring just two hours after he appeared in court earlier this year.

After his court appearance, Crowe was seen loitering within two blocks of Swift's townhouse, slowly making his way toward her home. Witnesses in the area noticed his suspicious movements and quickly alerted the authorities, resulting in his third arrest.

Law enforcement officials, speaking with TMZ, described Crowe as being "aware of what he's doing and articulate," but also fixated on Swift and unable to stay away from her residence. "We are doing all we can to protect her," they added.

Despite pleading not guilty to charges claiming he had appeared at Swift’s home over 30 times in just two months, it was later determined that Crowe was unfit to stand trial. As a result, the criminal case against him was dismissed.
