As far as Brittany Cartwright is concerned, her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, needs more than rehab to fix his alleged problems.
The TV personality recently shared a different narrative about her former beau's rehabilitation experience. She claimed her "The Valley" co-star kept harassing her with "rage texts" amid his mental health treatment.
Brittany Cartwright previously slammed Jax Taylor as "selfish" and doubled down on having zero regrets about their ongoing divorce. She claimed the truth was finally clear, and she couldn't be happier about their breakup.
Brittany Cartwright Claims Jax Taylor Cussed Her Out During His Rehab Treatment
Cartwright did not mince her words about Taylor during a recent interview on Bravo's "Hot Mic" podcast. She claimed his 30-day treatment probably had little to no effect on his problematic personality, saying:
"I don't feel like he changed at all in those 30 days. And the reason, I'm sure it'll be on the show as well, but, you know, a lot of rage texting and stuff was still going on the entire time that he was in rehab."
"So, for me, I was just noticing, like, this is just going to be constant. Like, if you're in therapy seven hours a day, and you're still finding time to call me names and cuss me out? And send me rage texts? Then you're obviously not ever gonna change," Cartwright argued.
Cartwright Does Not Regret Filing For Divorce
The Bravolebrity kept slamming her estranged beau in the interview, claiming she did not regret pulling the plug on their marriage. She stressed that fans should not hope for a reconciliation, declaring:
"I'm so glad I did. I'm not changing my mind. I'm so happy with this decision."
Cartwright claimed she was "relieved" after realizing "'This is bad, I can't stay in this.' It was very eye-opening." Her words sparked supportive comments from fans, who believed her claims about Taylor.
Many applauded her decision to leave, with someone noting: "I'm sooooo happy for her she deserves this soo much! Jax never respected her and put her through so much grief! I am so happy for her."
Taylor Entered Rehab Over His Mental Health
Taylor's rehab stint made waves in July, with The Blast reporting that his rep claimed he was struggling with his mental health. The source noted that his life had significantly changed amid his divorce, saying:
"Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his [When Reality Hits] podcast. He has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment."
"This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter," Taylor's rep added. The TV personality and Cartwright announced their separation in February after months of fighting.
The Estranged Couple's Differences Was Documented On 'The Valley'
Taylor and Cartwright's marriage crumbled before the cameras of their reality TV show, "The Valley." The pair were repeatedly captured having arguments and fights but denied a third party had influenced their split.
"There's no affairs, there's no cheating, there's no abuse, there's none of that. I'm so triggered. My fuse is this big," Taylor noted on the show. His estranged wife echoed similar sentiments to cameras, saying:
"We were already having issues all summer long, but once the cameras stopped rolling, things seemed like they were getting worse and worse and worse and worse."
Cartwright revealed she ended things with Taylor after an explosive argument where he allegedly screamed at her for hours. She also slammed him for forcing her to move out of their home, claiming:
"I moved into an Airbnb with Cruz because Jax would not leave the house. I just feel like that shows how selfish Jax is."
Jax Taylor Accidentally Hands Brittany Cartwright Full Custody Of Their Son
Taylor and Cartwright share a son, Cruz, but the boy nearly ended up in his mother's full custody. The Blast shared that estranged couple were meant to share rights over their son but the patriarch accidentally made an error in his divorce response.
At the time, Taylor's legal rep claimed the error would be fixed, noting: "Taylor and Brittany have already long resolved all matters related to Cruz's custody and will continue to work together privately for the best interest of their son, which remains their overriding concern."
However, it seemed their word wasn't good enough for Taylor, who enlisted Mark Vincent Kaplan to represent him. The famous lawyer helped Britney Spears' ex-husband score a favorable outcome in their divorce proceedings.
Will Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor resolve their differences amicably, or are there more public jabs to come?
