LeBron James is thinking of throwing his sweaty headband into the musical arena!

The Los Angeles Lakers star teased fans by expressing his interest in making music on Wednesday, February 17. "My Love for music is INSANE!!!" James tweeted. Music is his second biggest passion and it seems like he's ready to step into the studio. The 6'9" NBA star wouldn't be the first big man to dip his toe in the music pond but LeBron assured fans that he won't be spitting bars anytime soon.

The baller straight up said that he won't take command of the mic but hinted that he may take up more of a producer role.

"I think I'm going to do a[sic] album," LeBron stated. "Oh no I won't be rapping or anything like that. I'm not crazy, I know what I'm great at, but I tell you one thing I do have. So many friends that can."

James may have to add "Super Producer" to his long resume! We can't imagine any artist that would pass up the chance to work with the King.

James wasn't kidding when he said that he has "many friends" in the music industry. LeBron has broken bread and developed numerous strong friendships with some of the titans of the Hip Hop and Pop worlds. His list of musical friends includesDrake, Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and even Macklemore to name a few. James even got a little stage experience when he rocked out with Travis Scott and Drake during "Sicko Mode" at the Staples Center in 2018.

LeBron recently paid tribute to the late, great Nipsey Hussle (which we cover below).

Nipsey Hussle and Kobe Bryant will always have a place in LeBron's heart but now they have a permanent place in his house. He showed off his new painting of the two fallen stars with crowns made of golden leaves.

"Wit me every single day when walking my hallways. ?&? Continues to live on! #LegendsNeverDie?," he wrote alongside the cool painting.

The emojis he used represent Nipsey's phrase, "The Marathon Continues" and Kobe's nickname, Black Mamba.
