‘RHONJ’ Star Melissa Gorga Felt Torn Amid Teresa And Jackie's Feud, Talks Lip Filler

Melissa Gorga has a special place in her heart for both Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider. So, when the two ladies embarked on a messy feud amid filming on season 11 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” last year, she felt understandably torn.

While appearing on “The Wendy Williams Show” last week to promote the new episodes, Gorga said she struggled to navigate through the tension between her cast mates because Giudice is family and Goldschneider is a very close friend.

“It’s rough for me because Jackie and Teresa… Obviously, Teresa is my sister-in-law. Jackie is a very good friend of mine,” she said, via YouTube. “I think [Jackie is] so sweet. She’s a good person.”

According to Gorga, she feels that it is her job, as a family member and friend of Giudice and Goldschneider, respectively, to let the know if they are in the wrong in any given situation. However, because the ladies have been known to “get offended easily,” doing so is not always the simplest feat.

“I feel torn sometimes over my sister-in-law and my very good friend. I’m always put right in the middle,” she explained.

During a sneak peek at the new season, Giudice was seen in a screaming match with Goldschneider after reportedly repeating a false rumor she had heard about Evan Goldschneider being unfaithful. 

“Where Teresa goes out and says she hears this rumor is what’s a little shocking. It’s how she lets it go and what she said. This whole season is very relationship [heavy],” Gorga teased. 

When Williams wanted to know about Gorga’s look, asking if she gets her top lip done, Gorga confirmed her use of filler.

“Yes. I feel like I don’t really have an upper lip that much. I always say, ‘Everything in moderation.’ I never do a lot. You can always tweak a little bit. Not a lot,” she stated. 

Although Gorga doesn’t like to do much on her face, her husband, Joe Gorga, doesn’t like her to do anything at all and once had a very bad reaction when she came home after receiving her very first filler.

As Gorga recalled, Joe exclaimed, “Oh my God, you’re changing. You’re on TV now. What are you doing?”

“He had a heart attack. He’s like, ‘You look like a duck,’” she laughed.

Also during the appearance, Gorga confirmed she is a fan of Giudice’s new boyfriend, Luis Ruelas, who Giudice has been flaunting on Instagram in recent months.

“I do [like him]. He seems like a very nice guy,” Gorga shared. “It’s still new so you never know, you just always be cautious. But to meet him, he seems like a nice guy and ultimately, I just want her to be happy. I really do. Her mood will lighten. I want Teresa and the girls to be happy. That’s all we want for that family. They’ve been through so much.”
