SZA's 'Good Days' Single Goes Platinum In Less Than Two Months

SZA has had another huge hit on her hands since Christmas Day with her "Good Days" single. This record ended up skyrocketing to the top of the charts on streaming apps such as Apple Music and Spotify.
The support continues to keep rolling as fans also wait for her highly anticipated sophomore album to hopefully come out sometime in 2021. In the meantime though, Good Days has reached another huge milestone since its release over the past two months.
'Good Days' Is Already Platinum
According to Chart Data,"Good Days" is now at platinum status in the United States. This is after selling 1 million units. Following this announcement, fans soon started to applaud SZA on Twitter for her latest accomplishment and one of her most successful singles of her career.
This record was one that was asked heavily of SZA before 2020 ended and she delivered. At one point, a fan asked her in December to "like" a tweet if this single would come out before the year ended and she replied with a heart. Then, fans got a great Christmas gift with "Good Days."
Fans Are Still Waiting On The Music Video For 'Good Days'
While "Good Days" continues to do very well on the charts and with streams, the wait is also on for the music video. The last update was on January 28 on Instagram as she posted a behind the scenes photo. There, SZA was seen posing in what appears to be at a convenience store. Once the visuals are finally released though, there's the expectation that it will quickly amass millions of views, which seems inevitable at this point.
SZA Also Won Big With 'Hit Different' Single Featuring Ty Dolla $ign In The Fall
"Good Days" is winning in a major way right now but last fall, SZA had another huge record that won the approval of fans. That is "Hit Different" featuring Ty Dolla $ign. This record debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her supporters also loved the music video fro this single as they were feeling the choreography and how well SZA and Ty Dolla $ign did with their chemistry on the song in general. Production was also handled by The Neptunes.
SZA Also Recently Teased New Music On The Way On 'CBS This Morning'
On Wednesday, SZA appeared on "CBS This Morning" where she discussed her environmental work as well as new music on the way.
"New music is literally on the way," explained SZA. "I haven't slept. I'm coming directly from the studio right now. It's like 5am; I left the studio around 3:30."
SZA may also release a new single titled "Shirt." This is what the song is referred to by fans after appearing on TikTok but it may not be the final title.
"'Shirt' is super easy to remember, and now every time I'm working on it in the studio, I reference it as 'Shirt.'" Now this song that I wasn't even 100% sure [would get] placement on my album has centered itself on my album, and I rushed to get it out and ready."
