On Wednesday night, a small fire broke out at Flecha Cantina, the Las Vegas Mexican restaurant co-owned by actor Mark Wahlberg.

The restaurant, which opened in September, seemingly sustained little to no damage, despite original reports, as the fire was maintained through part of the interior.

Mark Wahlberg also has a second restaurant in Huntington Beach, California.

Flecha Cantina Caught Fire In Las Vegas

The flames seen surging outside Flecha Cantina in Town Square, accompanied by blaring alarms, were contained to the terrace area in front of the restaurant, according to Randy Sharpe, CEO of Wahlburgers, the restaurant group founded by Mark Wahlberg and his brothers Donnie Wahlberg and chef Paul Wahlberg.

“The whole front of the building has reflective windows, so it made it look pretty spectacular, but not in a good way," Sharpe said, per Review-Journal. "The fire department came out quickly; they suppressed it. It was out in 20 minutes. It was very minor. Fortunately, it wasn’t worse.”

The restaurant reopened by 7:15 p.m., Sharpe said.

Flecha Cantina Opens In Las Vegas

Flecha Cantina opened in Las Vegas’ Town Square earlier this year, filling the former Miller’s Ale House location and adding a fresh vibe to the mall's diverse dining options. The restaurant offers a menu of modern Mexican cuisine, along with margaritas and cocktails made with Flecha Azul tequila, Mark Wahlberg’s tequila brand.

“Town Square is obviously a great center and it attracts not only millions of tourists coming through Vegas, it’s also a great spot for locals to frequent,” managing partner and co-founder Randy Sharpe said at the time. “It was the perfect opportunity for us to showcase a beautiful restaurant.

“Southern California has been his home so when Huntington Beach came up, we jumped on it, and now Vegas is home, so it makes a lot of sense. We really appreciate the community embracing us.”

Mark Wahlberg Continues To Grow In The Food Industry

Flecha Cantina also has a location in Huntington Beach, CA, adding to Mark Wahlberg’s growing portfolio in the food industry.

It's run by Paul Wahlberg and his brothers, actors, and boybanders Donnie and Mark. "One brother, Donnie, didn't just join the school band as a kid. He created the most famous boy band in the world. His younger brother, Mark, didn't just take drama. He became one of the most famous actors in the world," the website explained. "And for Paul, well, he loved food and his family. But he wasn't satisfied cooking for just them. He wanted to cook for everyone else's family too. He was hungry for something more. So, he created Wahlburgers..."

The Mexican restaurant chain is just one of Wahlberg’s culinary ventures; his first passion project, Wahlburgers, has expanded rapidly across the United States, bringing his family’s name into the dining scene nationwide.

Mark Wahlberg has recently ventured into the adult beverage industry by taking an ownership stake in Flecha Azul Tequila, following in the footsteps of numerous celebrities who have entered the liquor business in recent years.

"I met [Marquez and Ancer] and realized we had so many things in common," Wahlberg told The Hollywood Reporter of getting into the business. "We’re all family-oriented, self-made guys and I was just really loving what they were doing [with Flecha Azul]. And I loved their story; everything that they’ve done is so similar to what I’m trying to build on my own, one step at a time."

This trend gained traction back in 2017 when George Clooney famously sold his Casamigos tequila brand for a reported $1 billion, sparking interest from other high-profile figures. Icons like Michael Jordan and "Breaking Bad" co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have since launched their own tequila brands, further fueling the boom in agave-based spirits.
