Jameela Jamil has emerged as a vocal critic of the Democratic Party, claiming that liberals made "10,000 mistakes" that ultimately drove away their own support base as Donald Trump emerges as the winner of the U.S. 2024 Presidential election.
Among the mistakes she referred to, Jamil claims that the left "didn't listen to their voters" on specific policies, going on to point out the distrust the public holds for the liberal media as a key factor also.
Donald Trump has since crossed the 270 electoral votes needed to emerge as the winner of the elections, promising in a victory speech that he'll "fight" for Americans and also usher in the "golden age" of the country.
Jameela Jamil Says Liberals Cost Themselves A Successful Outing
The "Love at First Sight" actress took to her Instagram account to share her thoughts on ways she thinks liberals shot themselves in the foot that eventually paved the way for Donald Trump to emerge as the winner of the 2024 elections on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old actress-activist posted a shocked emoji on her Instagram grid and took to the comment section to pen a lengthy rant on how the left "drove their own support away" in response to one comment that read, "America really hates women."
"Yes, it does.... but also the liberals made 10,000 mistakes," Jamil wrote. "RBG should have stepped down earlier. Biden should have stepped down earlier. The White House and the media shouldn't have covered up his obvious cognitive decline."
Jameela Jamil Claims The Left Has Become An 'Alienating, Hypocritical, Ostracizing, And Punitive' Party
Jamil had a very long and scathing criticism of the Democratic party, as she slammed them for "alienating" potential supporters and voters.
"The left/liberals have been an increasingly alienating, hypocritical, ostracizing, and punitive party for 8 years. They drove their own support away," she noted. "They didn't listen to their voters on the MidEast. The liberal media has been dishonest in ways that have cost them the trust of the public and then been found out."
Jamil added, "Democrats mandated C0v1d vaccines, dismantling 'my body my choice' rhetoric. They spoke down to the very people they most needed to convert at every chance over the past 8 years."
She Slammed The Harris Campaign's Strategy
Jamil went on to weigh in on Kamala Harris's campaign strategy, decrying how the Democratic party did themselves a great disservice by not addressing policies "in far too many interviews" and also declining to go on "important platform" like the Joe Rogan podcast.
"They chose a candidate to replace Biden who missed so many opportunities to address POLICY in far too many interviews and just focused on the fact she isn't him, they turned down both K and her VP going on Joe Rogan - arguably the most important platform on the planet to convert a demographic," she wrote.
The "Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin" alum continued, "People with big platforms waited until the day of the election to endorse and encourage people to go out to the polling stations."
She suggested that part of the "mistakes" the left made was that they were "so sure they could beat" Trump, so much so that "many endorsed a third party candidate who didn't stand a chance against a man who had a 9-year rabid fan base."
"They ignored young men and boys and demonized them rather than calling them in, leaving them to be indoctrinated by the far right. The list goes on and on," she quipped.
Jameela Jamil Claims A Lack Of Policy Cost The Left A Win
Jamil went on to point out that race and misogyny issues weren't the main reason Harris lost the elections, as she suggested the real cause was a lack of policy.
Although she admitted that America is plagued with both issues, she suggested that it'll be "disingenuous for any of us to boil it all down to that," adding that "such binary thinking is what got us here in the first place."
"We elevated race and gender politics over policy, the working class, and displaying the full integrity we demanded from the opposition," she wrote. "My heart is broken. But I am also very angry because we had the power and opportunity to avoid this outcome."
Donald Trump Soared To Victory
Jamil's lengthy post comes as the billionaire politician emerged as the president-elect on Wednesday in a shocking landslide victory.
The former president notably picked up wins in key battleground states like Pennsylvania, soaring past the 270 electoral votes needed to return to the White House.
In a speech addressing supporters in Florida on Wednesday morning, Trump thanked Americans for their support, promising to "fight" for them and also usher in the "golden age of America."
"We have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly. We're going to fix our borders, and we're going to fix everything about our country," Trump said, per CNN.
