Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have shown strong support for Jason Kelce after he was involved in a tense confrontation at a college football game, where he chucked a fan’s phone to the ground following a homophobic remark directed at his brother.

The altercation unfolded Saturday at Penn State, where Jason was present as a guest analyst for ESPN’s "College GameDay" coverage. In a video that has since circulated widely, a fan can be heard shouting, “Hey Kelce! How does it feel your brother is a f-ggot for dating Taylor Swift?” The homophobic comment clearly struck a nerve with Jason, who stopped in his tracks, turned to confront the individual, and seized the fan’s phone, slamming it to the ground.

Taylor Swift, who has been publicly dating Travis Kelce since last fall, reacted privately to the incident with a sense of pride and appreciation.

A source close to the couple told DailyMail, 'Taylor and Travis were both really shocked by this, considering Jason is one of the nicest guys in the world. It really became clear how much he loves and respects Taylor. Travis means the world to him."

"The use of the word f-ggot is not okay with him nor anyone," the source added. "This fan crossed the line. Jason will never stand for anyone insulting his family, and he views Taylor as family now."
