Liam Hemsworth is moving on with life after filing for divorce from Miley Cyrus.
The “Killerman” actor looked happy during a recent mini getaway with his brother, Chris Hemsworth, sister-in-law Elsa Pataky and friends.
Liam also showed that he ditched his wedding ring as negotiations in his divorce have nearly wrapped up.
Chris and Elsa shared several snaps with the newly-single Hemsworth brother, who seemed to be enjoying the group vacation following his split with the singer.
Tagging themselves in Makepeace Island, a private escape in Queensland, Australia, the tight-knit friends looked relaxed and glad to be in each other’s company.
Liam, who’s always been private about his life off-camera, didn’t shy away from the lens this time.
Posing with his friends and family with a stunning background behind him, he seemed happy to have his marriage drama almost behind him.
Miley Cyrus’ soon-to-be ex-husband broke his silence on the breakup prior to filing for divorce.
Saying he wished Miley “nothing but health and happiness going forward,” Liam added the breakup was a private matter and he would not be making any other statements on their failed relationship.
One week later, he filed to end their marriage.
As The Blast reported, Liam and Miley have been hashing out details for the end of their short-term marriage and sources close to the couple tell us their divorce settlement will be wrapped up by Halloween.
The famous duo announced their separation in August.
Miley and Liam were married less than a year, despite being on and off since 2009.
In a join statement, through their rep, they stated, “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Liam has remained quietly in Australia with his family since the breakup.
