During Episode 2, Chapman explained that she had a plan for if or when her hair would fall out.
"They did tell me my hair was going to fall out, so the night before chemo I had my hair person braid my hair really good and then sew my extensions on it," she said.
"So I figured I would at least have a better chance at hanging on to my hair a little bit longer."
But it wasn't just planning on keeping her hair as much as possible; it was also simply managing the fact that she had cancer:
"Just coping and dealing every day just trying to stay busy."

Besides all of that, Chapman was concerned about being on the road for the show and catching bad guys, since mace and pepper spray is sometimes used to subdue suspects.
"I'm a little bit concerned about if they start to use mace or pepper ball guns, or things like that. Those things are definitely very, very harmful to me right now."

Chapman was determined to keep as much of her regular life intact as possible, though she admitted it's not easy, adding that sometimes the tears come through. She said that if she's smiling about it on camera now, she could "be crying about it tomorrow."
This season of "Dog's Most Wanted" is sure to bring fans more tearjerkers as it continues.
