Elon Musk has dispelled rumors of a secretive family compound in Austin, Texas, opening up on his latest ambitious endeavor in the city.

Instead of the reported $35 million mansion, the Tesla Boss revealed plans to create a large-scale, "futuristic art project" that will be open to the public.

He also shut down rumors that he offered to be a sperm donor for his pals, particularly Nicole Shanahan.

Reports earlier emerged that Elon Musk paid to secure a large mansion that'll house his blended family, including 11 children and at least two ex-partners.

According to Page Six, Elon has denied reports that he purchased a $35 million Texas mansion to place his blended family under one roof but revealed plans for an audacious art project in the heart of Texas.

"I don't own, nor am I building a compound in Austin," the SpaceX boss told the news outlet. "No grand family compound/home has been built or is expected to be built."

However, he added, "I do have an idea for a big futuristic art project in the Austin area that would be open to the public but have had too much work to get that going.

"I don't subscribe to NYT and haven't read the article," he added.

It comes after the New York Times reported that at least four persons with insider knowledge stated that Elon had bought a 14,400-square-foot mansion designed to look like the lavish homes in Tuscany, Italy.

The property was said to be the home of his 11 children and at least two of their mothers.

Sources allegedly told the news outlet that Elon has always wanted to have his children's mothers live "in adjoining properties" so that his younger kids can be a "part of one another's lives," and he can also "schedule time" among them.

They claimed that he didn't consider his first wife, Justine Musk, and their five children in the living arrangement but noted that "there is room in the Austin compound if they were to visit, though he is estranged from at least one of those children."

However, Elon said, "Justine lives in LA and isn't moving to Austin."

The news outlet also reported that Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, who shares 2-year-old twins, Strider and Azure, and a third child whose name is unknown with Elon, has already "moved into one of the homes with her children."

But the X owner clarified, "Shivon has her own house, and she bought it for much less than that."

The tech billionaire has voiced his concerns over declining birth rates in recent years and has been encouraging his followers on X, the social media company he runs, to follow in his footsteps by having as many kids as possible.

"It should be considered a national emergency to have kids," he posted in June.

The New York Times then recently reported that Elon offered to donate his sperm to friends and acquaintances, including Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr.'s former running mate, to procreate.

"At a dinner party held at the home of a well-known Silicon Valley executive last year, Mr. Musk offered to provide his sperm to a married couple he had met socially only a handful of times, according to two people who were present for the interaction," the publication reported.

However, Elon also denied those claims to Page Six, saying he "did not offer to be a sperm donor to Nicole or some random married couple."

Meanwhile, Elon and his ex, Grimes, have been locked in a custody battle over their three children: 4-year-old son X A-12, also known as baby X, 2-year-old daughter Exa, and 2-year-old son Techno.

The New York Times noted that Grimes, born Claire Elise Boucher, "has so far steered clear" of the alleged Austin compound and seemingly doesn't want anything to do with it as their custody battle drags on.

But Elon told Page Six, "Claire lives in LA in her own house. Our kids spend alternating weeks in Texas and California."

He added, "When I'm in California, which is usually two to three days per week, mostly for Tesla work, I stay at friend's houses in the Bay Area."

After Elon made comments about his trans daughter Vivian's identity on X (formerly Twitter), she took to rival social media app Threads to slam her father, branding him a "liar."

In August, she slammed Elon for trying to paint himself as a "caring paternal father."

Vivian said, "You just won't stop lying about me in interviews, books, social media, etc. Thank god you're absolutely terrible at it because otherwise, this would be significantly more difficult."

In another post, She criticized her father's attempt to portray himself as a champion of traditional values, stating that he is not a "Western values/Christian family man" but rather a "serial adulterer who won't stop f-cking lying about [his] own children."
