50 Cent does not mess with politics, even if it pays well.

The Hip-Hop icon recently confessed that he rejected Donald Trump's request to perform at a recent rally despite a $3 million offer.

The "Many Men" rapper stressed that he did not meddle in politics and his stance won't be changing anytime soon, no matter the payout. However, one of his songs skyrocketed in streams following Donald Trump's July shooting.

A clip of 50 Cent's appearance on "The Breakfast Club" radio show was shared on the outlet's Instagram page. It captured the moment host DJ Envy asked the rapper if Trump offered him money to perform at his Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday.

"I got a call," 50 Cent confirmed, noting they wanted him to perform his hit song "Many Men" at the rally. He also mentioned that they made the same request months earlier at the Republican National Convention.

"They offered me $ 3 million," the rapper said about Sunday's rally. When asked why he turned them down twice, 50 Cent confessed:

"I didn't even go for it. I haven't talked to them about that kind of stuff. I'm afraid of politics, bro. You understand? I do not like no part about them."

50 Cent Shades Ye For Getting Involved In Politics

While addressing his hesitance in teaming up with Trump, 50 Cent declared that he would never get involved in "gangbang and politics." He implied that putting his nose where it did not belong could ruin his career.

"It's because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you," 50 Cent explained before shading Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, saying:

"That's the formula for the confusion that has sent Kanye to Japan. He said something about both of those things, and now he can only go to Japan."

His words referenced Ye's past controversial statements that effectively diminished his presence in the United States and Europe. Fans echoed similar sentiments in the comments, applauding 50 Cent for treading carefully.

50 Cent's refusal to perform at Trump's rally received thousands of supportive comments. One fan praised his decision, declaring, "'All money ain't good money.' He did right." 

"50 been telling y'all he don't speak on religion or politics! Two of the biggest division topics in America," another penned. "I think folks don't realize... if Eminem ain't phuckin' with Trump, 50 ain't phuckin' with Trump!" a third alleged.

"50 is priceless! And very very intelligent!" a fan stated. The love for the rapper continued, with someone noting: "Smart businessman. I don't see the point financially in dividing your fan base by letting politics enter the arena. Remain neutral publicity and keep your political stance to yourself."

Another commenter added, "If this is truthful, smart move. Why destroy your own brand and money by loaning your persona to a cause that don't want you or like you?50 got too much to lose by doing something so stupid."

Although 50 Cent has no interest in politics, Trump earned him a reasonable sum following his assassination attempt. The July shooting saw the rapper's "Many Men" song skyrocket in fame, with a reported 6.4 million streams in the US.

The number was 224% higher than the 2 million streams the song generated in the past tracking frame. That wasn't all; Trump made 50 Cent's track even more famous by turning it into his anthem.

Billboard reported that Trump used the song as his entrance music during an August appearance on internet personality Adin Ross' "Kick stream." 50 Cent referenced himself being shot in the track, which was co-produced by Eminem.

Weeks earlier, The Blast reported that 50 Cent would join the prestigious list of talented performers who have taken residency in Las Vegas. He was scheduled to leave his mark in Sin City for the first time in a series of shows set to start in December 2025.

The rapper-turned-TV-producer scored a $15 million payday for six shows at PH Live inside Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. His residency promised to be an unforgettable event for fans, including an exclusive New Year's Eve celebration.

The upcoming project, dubbed "50 Cent: In Da Club," shall feature some of the entertainer's biggest hits. The list included classics like "In Da Club," "Candy Shop," and "21 Questions."The New Year's Eve event would also be presented by the rapper's Sire Spirits brand.
