Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been surrounded by engagement rumors for a fortnight of their relationship. However, those closest to the couple are saying they could be headed to the altar soon!

Last month, reports of a possible "Tayvis" engagement began to swirl but were quickly squashed. The forecast for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to put a ring on it may be shifting, according to inside sources.

There is no doubt that the NFL star is committed to his pop icon gal.

The couple, who went public with their romance last year, are frequently seen out in public together, never hiding their affection for one another.

Kelce recently showed he was fully committed to the "Love Story" songstress while on the set of his new TV series, "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity."

Onlookers, including comedian Ron Funches, noticed the football star casually shut down some behind-the-scenes flirting from fans.

Funches recalled the experience to Us Weekly, "One of my favorite things I actually saw, and I don’t want to use it as a spoiler, but, occasionally, some people tried to hit on him. Him shutting that down was really sweet and really nice to see. You can tell he’s in it with her," as The Blast previously reported.

Excitement surrounding the duo's relationship status increased early last month.

Troy Aikmanaccidentally referred to Swift as Kelce's 'missus,' implying the duo had secretly tied the knot already. When asked to discuss his slip of the tongue, Aikman said he had been "told" the couple had gotten engaged already.

A source put the engagement rumors to rest at the time, telling TMZ, "It’s not true and the recent erratic and unfounded speculation on this couple is just proving that media and overzealous fans do not know what’s going on with them and shouldn’t make wild assumptions based on zero facts. Two days ago, everyone had decided they were broken up, now they’re allegedly secretly engaged? It’s whiplash-inducing."

The couple have also been recently believed to have been broken up after the "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart" singer missed a few of her man's Kansas City Chiefs games.

Insiders within the couple's camp are thinking marriage could be on the horizon for Swift and Kelce.

Sources are pointing to how Kelce has supported the singer throughout her hectic 2024, referring to him as the "loml" singer's "protector," per the Daily Mail.

The NFL titan's continuous support of his significant other has reportedly strengthened their relationship, making the duo "stronger than ever."

In a track from Swift's 2020 LP "Folklore," she asks the subject if it would be "enough" for their relationship if she could ever bring him peace. It seems as if Kelce is bringing her all of that and more.

A source explained to the aforementioned publication, "Just his physical presence. She feels safer with him than anyone she’s ever known; she knows he would do anything for her and physically she feels protected by him, and she loves that feeling. It’s a relatively new one for her, relationship-wise," they explained.

The safety that her man reportedly brings is a catalyst for the "tremendous sense of peace" the singer reportedly feels with the Kansas City Chief star.

Kelce seems to have impressed the insiders around the couple, with how he is taking care of his girlfriend.

The same insider continued to explain, "Travis is her protector in every sense of the word. He is going to make sure she is physically safe and emotionally safe — he is not going to do anything careless or reckless with her," they said.

The duo's relationship continues to impact those around them as well. Another source in the couple's realm described their reactions to be of fascination.

"Everyone is fascinated by Travis and Taylor. I am obsessed with a potential wedding. They are unbeatable together," the insider said.

The duo has been together for over a year, first taking their relationship public when Swift appeared in the VIP suite of a Kansas City Chiefs game. She has since spent many Sundays supporting her man at his games.
