Kelly Rowland and her longtime “sister” Beyoncé made waves on Friday in Houston, stepping out together at Kamala Harris’ “Reproductive Rights” rally.

The highly anticipated appearance was a powerful show of support for the Vice President’s ongoing presidential campaign.

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, took the stage to introduce the duo, calling Kelly Rowland one of her “bonus daughters.”

Before welcoming the former Destiny's Child members to the stage, Knowles told the crowd, “I have been so blessed in my life in my life to have many careers, many Black jobs,” referencing a “Black jobs” comment from former president Donald Trump.

“But I have said before, the best job that I ever had was being a mother," she added. "I’ve had the privilege of raising and helping to raise four daughters, and I also take immense pride in being Mama Tina to so many young women and men.”

The "four daughters" she referred to include her biological children, Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, along with her niece Angie, and former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland.

Beyoncé Tells America 'We Need You' At Harris-Walz Rally

After taking the stage, the Destiny's Child alum addressed the nation to emphasize the importance of voting.

"I'm not here as a celebrity. I'm not here as a politician. I'm here as a mother," Beyoncé said at the rally. "A mother who cares deeply about the world. A world where we have the freedom to control our bodies. A world where we're not divided."

"Our past, our present, our future merged to meet us here," she continued. "Imagine our daughters growing up, seeing what's possible with no ceilings, no limitations. Imagine our grandmothers. Imagine what they feel right now. Those who have lived to see this historic day. Even those who are no longer physically with us. Imagine all of their sacrifice. The sacrifices made so we can witness the strength of a woman standing in her power."

'Freedom' Officially Adopted As Kamala Harris' Campaign Theme

While she didn’t perform, the rally highlighted several songs from the Houston icon. "Freedom" was officially adopted as Kamala Harris' campaign theme earlier this year, with Beyoncé granting the vice president permission to use the song.

“It’s time to sing a new song, a song that began 248 years ago. The old notes of downfall, discord, despair, no longer resonate. Our generations of loved ones before us are whispering a prophecy, a quest, a calling, an anthem," she said. “Our moment is right now. It is time for America to sing a new song. Our voices sing a chorus of unity. They sing a song of dignity and opportunity. Are you all ready to add your voice to the new American song? Because I am. So let’s do this.”

This privilege was notably withheld from former President Donald Trump's campaign, which received a cease-and-desist earlier this year after the song appeared in a video shared by Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung.

The night's theme was clear: women’s reproductive rights.

Though it’s a long shot for Harris to win Texas, her team strategically chose to visit the state, known for having some of the nation’s most restrictive abortion laws in the wake of Roe’s overturn.
