Kate Beckinsale faced a tough crowd as she lounged around in a bikini to show some rather painful cat injuries this summer. In August, the British actress updated her Instagram in a teeny two-piece, posing with balloons and showing that her cats can get pretty nasty when they want to. Revealing her "problem child" as she showed her scratches, Kate had her followers asking why cat Willow "attacked you," but the response was more frosty as The Daily Mail covered her share. Here, users noted that Kate was stripping down at 51, with many fans in the comments shaming her for it.

Looking ageless as she lay on an outdoor couch, Kate kept chic in a bandeau bikini in black. Displaying her 2024 weight loss, the Pearl Harbor star flashed her abs and tiny shoulders, showing hints of curve as she kept fun with a spiky black tiara. Upping the party spirit as glass windows behind her showed pink and white balloons, Kate lay next to her cat in her opening slide, then placed him on her belly as she reclined on her back.

Showing off her killer legs in her strapless swimwear, Kate eventually brought cat Clive in, with one slide showing an ugly and painful-looking scratch on her wrist. In a caption, Kate wrote: "Problem child." Fans left her over 90,000 likes.

Raising eyebrows and age-shaming the star, one user replied: "What in the midlife crisis is going on with her?" Kate Beckinsale has explained that her weight loss is down to "stress and grief," not dieting. In the above photo, the mom of one rocked a frilly white bikini as she enjoyed a retreat with her mother, who is battling Stage 4 cancer.

Revealing that she'd taken her mother to Mexico for a luxurious break, Kate told fans: "I wanted to take my mum somewhere that emphasized relaxation, detoxification, holistic wellness and reduction of inflammation as well as a beautiful and tranquil setting."

She added: "The personalized health plans, delicious and nutritious meals, and serene surroundings have left us feeling more balanced and energized and so grateful for what we have learned from their incredibly skilled practitioners."
