Cardi B cannot catch a break this October as her problems pile up. She revealed she was hospitalized hours after slamming her estranged husband in a heated rant.
The "Wap" rapper has been experiencing one problem after the other this month, from her issues with Offset to Child Protective Services (CPS) banging at her door over a prank call.
Now, Cardi B won't be able to perform at the upcoming music festival in Atlanta, ONE MusicFest. Although she did not share the cause of her medical emergency, she noted she was recovering and asked for fans' understanding.
Cardi B Won't Perform At One MusicFest This Weekend
Cardi announced her nonappearance at Saturday's show in an Instagram post via a statement about her health. "I am so sad to share this news, but I've been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days," she explained.
"And I won't be able to perform at ONE MusicFest. It breaks my heart that I won't get to see my fans this weekend, and I really wish I could be there," Cardi lamented, adding:
"Bardi Gang - thank you for understanding, and I'll be back better and stronger soon. Don't worry. Love yall — Cardi [red heart emoji]."
She echoed similar sentiments in the post's caption, writing, "Thank you guys for understanding... I will see you soon." Cardi's post generated positive responses from fans, who implored her to prioritize her health instead of her career.

The comment section was filled with concern for Cardi's well-being, and some fans theorized what could have caused her hospitalization. These internet sleuths speculated that she could have experienced a "setback" following the recent birth of her third child.
The NHS describes a setback as anything that increases a person's symptoms or decreases their mobility or ability to keep up with daily activities. It can be physical or emotional. In Cardi's case, fans believed she might have experienced postpartum complications.
"That's a setback. Stay in the house for 2 months after you have babies!!! Give your body time to heal," someone noted. Another echoed similar thoughts, writing, "Should've sat down after you had that baby, but nooooooo."
"Definitely a setback moving too fast gotta rest up fr and give your body time to heal from having a whole baby," a third stated. "You just had a baby; go relax. The concerts will be there. Get well, love," a concerned fan added.
The 'Up' Hitmaker Slammed Offset As A 'Narcissist'
Hours before her Instagram post, Cardi expressed hatred for her estranged husband, Offset on X. The Blast reported that she slammed him in a series of since-deleted posts, stressing that she had no love for him.
"Bro, I wish the worst on this man... I never hated somebody sooo much, and these b-tches be so [thirsty] to have him please take this man off my hands this garbage bag is too heavy!!!" Cardi claimed.
When an X user advised her to stop her rants because of Offset's status as the father of her children, the rapper doubled down on him being a problem. She responded:
"Yea, he is, that's why I don't wish death.. but I truly hate this dirty a-- narcissistic piece of sh-t... And his family and his friends never check him; that's why he always going to be a piece of sh-t of a person."
The Grammy Winner Doesn't Love Offset Anymore
Cardi did not mince her words against Offset in her tweets, stressing that she was done with her estranged husband. "Yep, you still love him," an X user argued, to which the rapper replied:
"No, I don't. I want him to get hit by a f-cking truck... He really is just a dark cloud on anybody's life he enters."
It was unclear what sparked Cardi's heated rant against Offset, but it showcased her willingness to push forward with their divorce. However, her short fuse might have something to do with a prank call that brought CPS to her home.
Cardi B Slammed CPS Over Prank Call About Her Kids
Earlier this week, Cardi called out CPS in an Instagram Live session from her hospital bed. She claimed they visited their home over a prank call that claimed her children were being abused and beaten.
"We don't play that sh-t. My kids live great. My kids have never been touched, never gotten hit, no matter how annoying they are. I never hit my kids," Cardi claimed, noting the prank caller had gone too far by mentioning her children.
"I promise you this, I'm gonna sue CPS for f—king coming to my house at whatever the f-ck time it is. [I will] sue the person that did this anonymous call," the rapper threatened. Could the recent issues in her life have something to do with Cardi B's hospitalization?
