Bronny played his first ever NBA game during a Summer League game in July, and it did not go well with some fans who credited nepotism for his career. The Blast noted that LeBron explained that none of the negative comments got to his son because he did not care.

"I actually cared a little bit when I came in [as a rookie]. I wanted people to like me, and some of the things that people were saying about me kind of bothered me early on in my career. I let it get to me. Bronny doesn't give a f—," the legend stated to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

It was later revealed that the 20-year-old had a treatable congenital heart defect. He went into surgery after the incident and eventually made his USC debut in December.
