One Direction star Liam Payne's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, took to her social media page to share another heartbreaking tribute to the late singer.
Cassidy posted a series of photos of her and Payne looking loved up, along with a note in which he talked about getting married to her "within a year."
Liam Payne died last week Wednesday after falling from the third floor of the CasaSur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Liam Payne's Girlfriend Says Her Heart Is 'Shattered'
Cassidy shared several photos of her and Payne looking happy and in love on her Instagram page, alongside a lengthy note about how heartbroken his death has left her.
The model wrote, "I don't even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can't put into words. I wish you could see the huge impact you've had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone-millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me."
She continued, "You are, because I can't say were my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did. Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into."
Cassidy further noted that her boyfriend's death still feels "unreal and that she can't wrap [her] head around this new reality of not having you here."
"I'm struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side," she added."Together, we got to be kids again, always finding joy in the smallest things. Liam, you had the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit. It feels like I've lost the best part of myself. I can't imagine a day without your laughter and love. You brought so much light into my life.
Kate Cassidy Says The Singer Planned To Marry Her 'Within A Year'
In Cassidy's new set of posts was a photo of a note the late singer gave her, expressing his intentions to marry her "within a year."
The note read, "Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever, 444."
While referencing Payne's note in her lengthy message, Cassidy said, "A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together. I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it."
She continued, "Liam, I know we'll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You'll always be with me. I've gained a guardian angel. I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go. Forever yours, Katelyn 444."
Kate Cassidy Previously Shared A Poignant Message To Liam Payne After His Death
A few days after Payne's death, the influencer broke her silence on his passing, expressing sadness and requesting privacy from fans, who, at the time, harassed her with insensitive questions about the late singer.
At the time, Cassidy took to her Instagram Stories to share her tribute to Payne, starting by thanking everyone "for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way."
"I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days has felt real," Cassidy continued. "I ask and pray that you'll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private."
Cassidy concluded her post by sharing a direct message to Payne, writing, "Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam."
Why Kate Cassidy Left The Former One Direction Singer In Argentina
Payne and Cassidy both took a trip to Argentina earlier this month, where they attended his former bandmate, Niall Horan's concert.
According to Cassidy, they planned on spending just five days in the country but ended up staying for over two weeks, which caused her to grow "homesick."
Before Payne's passing, the influences documented her return from Argentina in a TikTok video, where she noted that she hated staying in one place for too long.
"I was so ready to leave," Cassidy said in the video clip. "Honestly, love South America but I hate staying in one place for too long. And we were supposed to be there for, like, five days, turned into two weeks."
The model said that she was so bent on going home, especially after developing a "weird rash" before her flight due to her "anxiety."
"I was so happy to be home," Cassidy added. "It was so relieving."
Liam Payne's Close Friends Says He Was 'Preyed On' By Drug Dealers
Payne's toxicology report revealed the singer had traces of "pink cocaine," "crack cocaine," and other drugs in his system at the time of his death.
However, according to a close friend of his, Payne was completely sober before his trip to Argentina and was trying to remain sober by going to rehab.
This close friend told the Daily Mail that the singer unfortunately fell prey to drug dealers in the South American country.
"Liam had been clean for weeks. He had been to rehab more than once," the source told the news outlet. "He had had treatment in the UK and in California, and he had recently been taken on by a new psychiatrist in Florida. Everyone around Liam hoped that he was on the path to recovery."
They continued, "Liam was 100 percent sober. But when he checked in at the hotel, at some point, someone there started giving him drugs."
"Liam had tried really hard to get clean, then they preyed on him," the friend added. "These people only care about money. They didn't care about his health."
Payne's funeral is reportedly set to be held next month, in November; however, his father, Geoff Payne, will have to wait in Argentina until after police investigations are concluded before receiving his son's body.
