Drake’s baby mama is making her own power moves and showing off her artwork being published.
Sophie Brussaux, the mother of Drake’s son Adonis, posted a series of photos of her new artwork in a book.
She is an artist who lives in Paris and enjoys painting celebrity portraits. Brussaux has shown off her artwork of Angelina Jolie, Angela Bassett, Amy Winehouse, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Obama and Beyoncé. Brussaux also paints other things besides celebrities.
In the new photos, she showed off her work in a new art book. She captioned the post, “Such an honor to be part of @capsulesbook Curatorial Vol. 1 : Leaders In Contemporary Art curated by @arts_helps “
Drake’s son clearly has been inspired by his parent’s artistic talents, with the rapper sharing a finger-painting his son did last year.
Brussaux and Drake have kept things peaceful and appear to be co-parenting successfully.
Back in March, Brussaux showed up to one of Drake’s Paris concerts and was given the VIP treatment. In the photos posted, Brussaux appeared with a friend and has a VIP pass hanging around her neck. She even posted video of her dancing from a private area of the venue.
Brussaux is an artist from France and has not spoken publicly much about her relationship with Drake after it was revealed the rapper had a son named Adonis.
The rapper talked about his son on his album “Scorpion”. On his track “Emotionless” he rapped, “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid / From empty souls who just wake up and look to debate / Until you staring at your seed, you could never relate.”
He went deeper on “March 14” where the lyrics included, ““Yesterday morning was crazy / I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe / That shit is in stone, sealed and signed / She’s not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine / Sandi used to tell me all it takes is one time / Shit, we only met two times. Two times / And both times were nothing like the new times / Now it’s rough times/ I’m out here on front lines just tryna make sure that I see him sometimes. It’s breaking my spirit / A single father, I hate when I hear it.”
Drake also appeared on HBO’s “The Shop” with Lebron James and talked about Brussaux. He also showed off photos of Adobis to James, pointing out his son’s blue eyes.
