Billie Eilish took a major tumble onstage during a recent stop on her "Hit Me Hard and Soft" tour.

The singer posted the hilarious fan-captured moment to her Instagram Stories on Monday, showing her spill at NYC's Madison Square Garden last week. While Billie was busy hyping up the crowd with some enthusiastic waves, she suddenly lost her footing and took a dramatic dive down the stairs.

Though the show must go on, the hard landing was no laughing matter as Billie Eilish showed fans the not-so-glamorous aftermath, which included a massive bruise on her thigh.

According to social media users and fans, Eilish delivered an impressive performance—though one night didn’t go off without a hitch.

The singer shared a TikTok video of her fall on her Instagram Stories, showing the moment she waved goodbye to fans while walking down the stairs to exit the stage. As she stumbled and fell, she quickly got back up, much to the relief of those watching.

"Billie falling down the stairs at MSG," the TikToker--@billie.on.tour--wrote over top of the video. The caption said, "Our girl needs a break."

When sharing the video with her 120 million followers, Eilish added a skull emoji. In another post, she revealed the large bruise that developed from the fall, posting a photo of the contusion on her thigh with the caption, "but literally."

On Thursday, October 17, Madonna attended Eilish's concert at the iconic New York City venue with her boyfriend Akeem Morris, showing support for the 22-year-old singer-songwriter and her brother, Finneas.

This outing comes less than two weeks after the passing of Madonna's beloved younger brother, Christopher Ciccone.

“My brother Christopher is gone. He was the closest human to me for so long,” she announced earlier this month. It's hard to explain our bond, but it grew out of an understanding that we were different and society was going to give us a hard time for not following the status quo.”

“I did my best to keep him alive as long as possible. He was in so much pain towards the end,” she later added. “Once again, we held hands We closed our eyes and we danced. Together. I’m glad he’s not suffering anymore. There will never be anyone like him. I know he’s dancing somewhere.”

Madonna and Eilish have previously garnered attention when she came to Eilish's defense after the singer experienced a drop in her Instagram followers following the reveal of her new, more feminine style in 2021.

"The problem is, we still live in a very sexist world where women are put into categories: You're either in the virgin category or the whore category," Madonna told ELLE at the time. "Billie started off in a non-sexualized category, not pandering to the masses and not using her sexuality in any way, which is her choice and God bless her for that — after all, she's been a teenager all this time."

"[But] if she wants to turn around and take photographs where she is portrayed as a feminine woman, showing her body in a way that she hasn't in the past, then why should she be punished for it?" Madonna asked.

She didn't stop there as she told ELLE that "Women should be able to portray themselves in any way they want."

"If Billie were a man, no one would be writing about this," she continued. "A man can show up dressed in a suit and tie for the first three years of his career, and then the next month he could be dressed like Prince or Mick Jagger, shirt off, wearing eyeliner, and no one would say a word."
