In the video, the crash itself is not seen, just Combs racing across across the desert landscape with a bright white plume of smoke following her.

Combs set the women's land-speed record in 2013, breaking that record in 2016, receiving the nickname "fastest woman on four wheels."

Combs' boyfriend, Terry Madden, has shared some photos of the time he and Combs recently spent together. They had taken a trip to Red River, New Mexico.

Madden spoke fondly about their time there, mentioning how their search for hot springs led them to a cave, which Madden called the "scary cat cave."

Madden also wrote about their encounter with a mountain lion, and Jessi's reaction to the mountain lion seems like a tender memory for Madden.
