If the saying 'Fool me twice; shame on me!' was a person, it is probably Jelly Roll right now as he takes a raincheck on his second return to social media!

The American singer announced his exit from social media, particularly X (formerly called Twitter), but not without a candid review of the users' conduct.

Jelly Roll's recent exit is his second time leaving social media, as he was forced to quit the first time following body-shaming comments.

Roll did not leave the opinion-sharing platform without giving a piece of his mind to his nearly 400,000 followers. The country singer wrote:

"This is for sure the most toxic negative app to exist ever — PERIOD. lol. This place is different man, I always heard it was the Wild West on here but man it's insane . It's a safe place for everyone to say mean sh-t to each other with no consequences. I'm out lol."

Roll's tweet has received significant engagement from users who expressed mixed opinions on his post. One of the standout comments was this user who gave the singer a quick masterclass on how to engage the right people on X; they wrote:

"The world is toxic too. Who you interact with has a direct correlation to what you see on your For You feed. Ignore the haters. Engage with who you vibe with. Your 𝕏 experience will change."

Another user blamed billionaire and CEO Elon Musk for the current vibe on the app, writing, "App took a nosedive when Elon bought it," while someone else reminded the singer, "It's free speech my guy. The good the bad and the ugly. I would rather have it this way."

Another commenter sang owner Elon Musk's praise and decision to relax censoring on the app since purchasing it. In their words:

"I thought the same thing but you just have to block the negatives and not engage. After a couple weeks, the algorithm will clean your feed. Free speech is worth it. Everything on other apps is heavily censored."

Back in April, The Blast reported that the singer's wife reacted to her husband's decision to go off social media on her podcast. According to Bunnie, the negative comments have hurt Roll emotionally, adding:

"My husband got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his f—ing weight, and that makes me want to cry because he is the sweetest angel baby. My husband doesn't show it to you guys, but I'm gonna have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him."

Bunnie continued on the podcast that online hate should never be encouraged or celebrated regardless of whoever is affected, even if the receiving party is a celebrity.

The singer's wife implored the public to be selective with their choice of words on social media as they could never fathom the effects their words may have on people.

"Don't bully people because you never know where they are mentally," the podcaster declared as she expressed her willingness to defend her loved ones.

"I'm sorry, I'm gonna stand up for the f—-g underdogs. You're never gonna bully me, you're never gonna lie about me or my family, and I will fight 'til the end," she reiterated.

Bunny warned the toxic fans and bullies to leave her family alone, or they will have to deal with her wrath.

Always the expressive type, the CMT award winner opened up on taking a sober reflection and hating nearly all the ink he got on his skin over the years. The Blast reported the singer noted:

"I regret 98% of these tattoos, 97%, almost all of them. Like core philosophies, I rooted my life in when I was 17, and now I'm 40, I'm like, 'What the f— was I thinking?'"

The singer emphasized that some of the art he found interesting at that time, like the tattoo of a baby smoking marijuana on his arm no longer fit into his reality and they were "too excessive."

Roll has also covered up many of his old tattoos as part of his changed perspective. Some have, however, remained symbolic to him, like the larger cross on the other side of his face that represented a new chapter where he realized he needed to bear his own cross.

Aside from his tattoos, the singer also shared his fear regarding the current wave of fentanyl usage. His concern prompted his involvement in the  hearing "Stopping the Flow of Fentanyl: Public Awareness and Legislative Solutions."

The star, who has struggled with drug addiction in the past, shared that he does not want his children to live the same life, and the ongoing substance abuse trend, which reportedly kills over 150 people in the United States per day, may influence them.

"We've seen crack. We've seen cocaine. We've seen opioids. But we've never seen something that is so deadly in such small amounts that's being mixed in so many different things," stated the rapper on the possibility that any substance could be laced with fentanyl.
