The NLCS is heading back to Los Angeles after an exciting Game 5 at Citi Field, where the Mets kept their season alive with a commanding 12-6 victory over the Dodgers.
The Mets erupted for eight runs in the first three innings and relied on a strong bullpen performance to seal the win. While the Dodgers still lead the series 3-2, the Mets are making it clear they won’t go down without a fight.
In a remarkable feat, the Mets didn't record a single strikeout during Game 5. They racked up 12 runs on 14 hits and drew five walks, plus three hit batters, sending 44 players to the plate without a single whiff.
Game 6 is set to take place Sunday night at Dodger Stadium, where the stakes couldn't be higher. A victory for the Dodgers would propel them to the World Series, while a win for the Mets would force a thrilling Game 7 on Monday.
