Noor Alfallah Address Romance Rumors With Bill Maher
The 30-year-old model and ex-partner of Hollywood legend Al Pacino has spoken out about her purported relationship with veteran comedian Bill Maher.
According to TMZ, Alfallah noted that she and Maher's rumored relationship is only platonic, as she also opened up about remaining "best friends" with Pacino.
"Bill's my friend, just my friend. Bill's great, though," she said.
Alfallah added that she and Pacino have since gone their separate ways, but co-parenting their 1-year-old son, Roman has been "amazing."
How Noor Alfallah And Al Pacino Met
Pacino and Alfallah were first linked in April 2022, and they reportedly began their fling during the COVID-19 lockdown.
She told Vogue Arabia that they'd actually met at a dinner party in the late 2010s and became friends.
"He's a very talented and unique person. But I had no intention of thinking like, oh, he is going to be my son's father one day," she admitted.
"Al lives down the street from my house and we started spending every day together, playing chess and watching movies. It was like rr4r4film school with Al Pacino. I guess it just became something more," she said.
The Legendary Actor Said He And Noor Alfallah Are Done
It comes after the "Scarface" actor revealed earlier this month that he and Alfallah had gone their separate ways and were no longer together.
In a chat with People Magazine to promote his memoir Sonny Boy, the 84-year-old actor made the disclosure when asked if he was in a relationship.
"No. I have friendship," Pacino said. A representative for the actor also told the news outlet that "Al and Noor are very good friends, have been for years, and are co-parents to their son Roman."
Pacino, in his memoir, spilled on many of his past relationships as well as the reservation he holds about marriage, calling it "an entrance to the pain train."
"Everything's a ticket to the pain train. A ticket or nothing. Are you going to go or not? No, I'll stay here. I'll stay here at the station, I'm not getting on," he writes.
Marriage, he continues, "can suit you, by all means. I just didn't feel it ever suited me for some reason."
Al Pacino Reveals Near-Death Experience
Meanwhile, the "Scent of a Woman" actor recently opened up about a near-death experience he had while suffering from COVID-19, recounting how his pulse stopped, leaving paramedics scampering to bring him back to life, per the New York Times.
The actor said he was "sitting there in my house and I was gone" after falling unconscious while battling the virus at the time.
"I didn't have a pulse," he told the outlet. "In a matter of minutes, they were there - the ambulance in front of my house. I had about six paramedics in that living room, and there were two doctors, and they had these outfits on that looked like they were from outer space or something."
The actor disclosed that he had one of his employees get him a nurse as he was feeling "unusually not good," referring to the symptoms he had at the time.
"I didn't see the white light or anything. There's nothing there," Pacino said. "I'd never thought about it in my life. But you know actors: It sounds good to say I died once. What is it when there's no more?"
The Oscar Winner Says His Children Are His 'Consolation'
After going through the terrible experience, the actor noted that he was happy to have his children as "consolation" and his long enduring career to keep his legacy on.
The incident seemingly left Pacino's outlook on life changed as he doesn't seem afraid of death anymore, saying he has grown to have a "different view of death as you get older, simply brushing it off as "it's just the way it is."
"I didn't ask for it. Just comes, like a lot of things just come," he told the magazine before saying he doesn't find discussing death "morbid."
