Katy Perry Reportedly Takes Support For Kamala Harris To Campaign Staffers' Zoom Call

Katy Perry has taken her endorsement of Kamala Harris to a whole new level of encouragement for her campaign team!

The pop star reportedly brought a much-needed smile to the faces of the democratic presidential candidate team's face when she surprised them with a quick video conversation at the campaign headquarters.

Katy Perry is among the numerous celebrities who pitched their tent behind Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz as they head to the polls in a few weeks.

It was meant to be business as usual at the campaign office until they received a Zoom call from a very special guest whom the campaign chief of staff described as a huge supporter and friend of the senator.

Following the brief introduction from the chief of staff, the "Roar" singer appeared on the screen cheering on the Harris campaign team. The pop icon reportedly spoke about her years long relationship with Harris from when she served as a senator from California.

Describing her as incredible, intelligent, and heart-centered, the mom of one declared that Harris is exactly the kind of firm, fearless, and fabulous leader America needs.

According to TMZ, the pop star acknowledged the staffers' hard work and dedication since the start of Harris's campaign and reminded them to stay "hydrated, caffeinated and keep fighting for their candidate."

Never the one to be modest in her ways, Perry mirrored her colleague Taylor Swift and announced her support for the former senator's presidential ambition in a bright orange ensemble and a camo-inspired Harris-Walz hat while running errands last month.

The Blast reported that the singer, who had always been a huge fan of the democrats, also previously shared a clip featuring complications of Harris' campaign highlights with her single "Woman's World" playing in the background.

Perry's endorsement came just right in time for Harris' interesting debate against her opposing candidate, former president Donald Trump who is the official Republican Party candidate in the upcoming elections.

The singer joined other celebrities like Olivia Wilde, Kylie Kelce, Demi Lovato, Blake Lively, Lady Gaga, and Hilary Duff to align with the former senator as she fought for the winning spot.

Harris' running mate swiftly recognized and appreciated the "Shake It Off" singer's endorsement and described it as "eloquent, clear, and the type of courage we need in America to stand up."

The Governor also spoke on the constraints women face in getting access to abortion services and how it threatens women's right to privacy. He acknowledged Swift's efforts in giving a voice to that problem in her endorsement speech.

Walz and Swift indeed share a great sense of admiration for each other. The pop star previously praised Walz's stance on abortion, women's reproductive rights, IVF, and LGBTQ+ rights and commended Harris' decision to pick him as her running mate for the polls.

While Harris and Walz got all the "Taypraise," the singer did not mince words in expressing her displeasure on Trump and JD Vance's conduct and comments.

She specifically condemned Trump's weak stunt at doctoring a fake AI video of her allegedly endorsing his presidential campaign and posting it on his website. According to the billionaire, Trump's action further deepened her fear about AI "and the dangers of spreading information.

Swift concluded the famous Instagram post by describing herself as the "childless cat lady," referencing one of Vance's controversial comments describing Harris' supporters and women in American politics.

The woman of the moment also publicly acknowledged Swift's support, although The Blast noted that it came nearly a week and a half later.

Harris described the director as an incredible artist, stressing that she "really respects the courage that she has had in her career to stand up for what she believes is right."

She also took a playful dig at them supporting opposing NFL teams, stating: "We were on different sides of the Super Bowl last year. But who's mad at anyone for being loyal to their team, right?"

Harris is a lifelong fan of the San Francisco 49ers as she was born and raised in the Bay Area, while Swift has become a Kansas City Chiefs enthusiast out of her love for boyfriend and tight end Travis Kelce.
