Kevin Hart May Need Back Surgery After Hospitalization, Expected to Fully Recover

Comedian Kevin Hart is currently hospitalized in Los Angeles after a serious car accident, and we're told even though he may need back surgery, doctors are optimistic he will make a full recovery.
Sources connected with Hart tells The Blast, Kevin is still in a local hospital undergoing tests to determine if his back will require surgery to repair.
We're told the injury is "Not a spinal cord injury," and the comedian is, "able to walk and move his extremities."
People associated with the actor wanted to clarify reports that the injury he sustained in the accident was "major."

Our sources confirm the "Jumanji" star is hurt, but is expected to "make a full recovery."
We're told doctors are trying to determine if it is necessary for him to go under the knife in order to stabilize the injuries to his back.

As for the other passengers in the car, we're told Rebecca Broxterman, the family personal trainer, escaped with minor injuries.

We're told the 28-year-old driver suffered major injuries to his back. He was pinned in the overturned Plymouth 'Cuda and had to be rescued by the fire department.
As we reported, Hart's 1970's Plymouth Barracuda was involved in a single car wreck Sunday morning, after driving off Mulholland Drive and landing in a ditch.

The 911 call came in at 12:53 AM and the CHP says Hart was a passenger in his vehicle,.
Hart and the driver were eventually transported to the hospital.
Earlier Saturday, Hart posted video on his Instagram of himself burning the tires in the muscle car. The "Jumanji" star's wife, Eniko, posted video of him wrestling in the house with their children.
The crash is currently under investigation.
