President Donald Trump and Debra Messing are trading blows after the actress called for the release of the names of people attending his Hollywood fundraiser.
The action is going down on Twitter, and started Sunday morning with Messing asking for the media to find out just exactly who is attending the re-election Hollywood gala in September.

"Please print a list of all attendees please. The public has a right to know." she wrote.
The question was in response to a story put up by The Hollywood Reporter giving details about where and when the fundraiser would take place.

She wasn't the only start to get in on the action, her "Will & Grace" co-star Eric McCormick also tweeted a call to action saying, "kindly report on everyone attending this event, so the rest of us can be clear about who we don’t wanna work with. Thx."
Trump responded in full Trump style, writing, "I have not forgotten that when it was announced that I was going to do The Apprentice, and when it then became a big hit, helping NBC’s failed lineup greatly, @DebraMessing came up to me at an Upfront & profusely thanked me, even calling me “Sir.” How times have changed!"

Messing took advantage of Trump paying attention and posted,
"Now that I know I have your attention @realDonaldTrump, please read this thread— a PARTIAL list of souls lost to preventable, devastating gun violence. America wants universal background checks. The majority of Americans want assault weapons ban. Take Action and I’ll call you Sir."
This isn't the first time Messing has taken jabs at the president, the actress attended a protest in New York asking for him to release his tax returns.
It doesn't seem to be slowing down, and it seems others are jumping into the beef.
The fundraiser is being held in Beverly Hills during Emmy's week on September 17. Hollywood will be filled with tickets for the event go for as much as $100,000 per couple.
Money collected will go President Trump's re-election efforts. The 100K ticket gets you a photo opportunity and VIP reception.
