Superstar couple Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship is going strong, and they have been seen enjoying each other's company during their mutual downtime, but the twosome are just two normal people at the end of the day!
"Tayvis" are two giant entities in their respective careers, both having faced staggering amounts of criticism seemingly over every aspect of themselves. Swift endured such a vicious year with naysayers to the point of writing an entire album about it.
Even though the twosome may be familiar with navigating criticism, it can still rear its ugly head and personally affect them. The Kansas City Chiefs star seemingly has this on his mind at the moment and appears not to worry about speaking out.
Taylor Swift Has Faced Big Backlash For Hanging Out With Football Friend
Swift has faced an entirely new batch of criticism since beginning her relationship with Kelce last year. Many football fans are not happy with any amount of airtime the singer receives during Kansas City Chiefs games.
Another aspect of Swift's status as a football girlfriend has been a notable friendship she's made along the way. She hasn't been quiet about her affection toward Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kelce's teammate, Patrick.
Mahomes, herself, has garnered massive criticism over her alleged political views. The influencer has been thought to be a Donald Trump supporter, which has been a stark contrast to Swift's public support of liberal Presidential candidates in the past, (she recently came out in support of Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris, for President in the US November election.)
The duo's multiple appearances together at football games have raised eyebrows from critics, mainly to do with their opposite political views; many criticized Swift for waiting to publicly endorse a candidate, while Mahomes had been seen 'liking' posts related to Trump on social media.
The 'Dear Reader' Singer's Friendship With Mahomes Isn't Going Anywhere
The friendship between the NFL's most popular significant others has survived the attention and criticism it has been subjected to, and it seems as if it isn't going anywhere! In fact, Swift is reportedly taking steps to keep the spotlight away from the friendships she has made since becoming a fixture at her man's games.
As The Blast previously reported, Swift and Mahomes were thought to be taking part in a reality TV pilot having to do with the Kansas City Chiefs' most popular wives and girlfriends.
The "Right Where You Left Me" singer wants to remain "protective of what little private life she has left," a source told People about the singer's absence from the Bravo pilot.
The insider also said Mahomes will not be part of the project, and neither Swift nor Mahomes will appear in front of the camera.
Travis Kelce Has Critics On His Mind

In an Instagram photo from October of last year, Kelce wrote, "You gotta enjoy the madness." The football star would surely like to do without some variations of "madness," like the critics of himself and Swift.
Speaking to his brother Jason on a recent episode of "New Heights," the football titan was frank in revealing that he is afraid his relationship will be subjected to further scrutiny if the Chiefs lose a game this season. They are currently undefeated, according to The Daily Mail.
The younger Kelce brother said, "We've just got to keep winning," admitting further his belief that criticism would "absolutely f***ing rain down, baby."
Guest host, ESPN commentator Pat McAfee then shared his belief that "Tayvis" was "good for the sport" due to so many new eyes being on football for the first time.
McAfee also called the younger Kelce brother "the perfect representation for our sport [too]." continuing, "I think there's not other person who could do what you're doing right now and how you're doing it. It is awesome and all of us are incredibly proud of you," McAfee said.

The couple's relationship seems strong enough to sustain any critical attention. The duo has been spotted spending a lot of time together recently in New York enjoying dinner dates. They also enjoy bringing along friends!
Kelce was honest when dishing about his favorite type of date to go on with his lady; he revealed to Jason on "New Heights" that the couple are big fans of dining out.
"That's what we do, we like to go out and eat," he said in response to Jason showing a recent photo of the couple out on the town together, per PEOPLE.
Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Have Been Subjected To 'Jabs'
Not all of the criticism of Kelce and Swift's relationship is meant to be vicious!
Kelce was recently subjected to some "lighthearted jabs" by his new "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?" co-stars. Ron Funches revealed the crew was certainly "jabbing" the host about his relationship.
The comedian was honest about how Kelce received the jokes. Funches said, "He just kind of took them and gave us some back. He was really good," about Kelce's attitude, as The Blast previously reported.
