Reality Star Hannah Smith’s Arrest Takes Ugly Turn With Alleged Racial Remarks At Cop

Last week, "Love Island USA" star Hannah Smith made headlines after being arrested for allegedly making terroristic threats. Now, new details are coming to light, with reports suggesting that Smith allegedly directed racially charged remarks toward a police officer during the arrest.

The reality television star found herself in hot water after being escorted out of a concert venue in Atlanta on September 30 for disorderly conduct. According to the arresting officer’s warrant, the 26-year-old allegedly tried to punch the officer while being escorted to her Uber.

Hannah Smith is now facing serious legal trouble, having been charged with two felonies: terroristic threats and willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

According to police records obtained by The Sun, "Love Island USA" star Smith was at a concert venue in Atlanta on September 30 when she was escorted out for being disorderly.

The arresting officer detailed in a warrant that while Smith was being escorted to her Uber, “she attempted to punch me, with a closed fist, however, she did not make contact with me.”

The officer added, “While in handcuffs, she also attempted to kick me multiple times. Said accused did threaten to commit a crime of violence. While [Smith] was being transported to Cobb County Adult Detention Center, she stated she was going to kill me and my sister multiple times with the purpose of terrorizing said victim.”

According to court documents, Smith was released on an $8,000 bond.

The "Love Island USA" star reportedly directed racially charged remarks at a police officer during her recent arrest in Atlanta, according to TMZ.

A source close to the investigation revealed that Smith not only threatened the female Cobb County officer but also made derogatory comments about race. It's alleged that she shouted, "B-tch. I can't wait to kill you, you dumba--, ugly b-tch 'cause you're f-cking fat, and they love us skinny bi-ches 'cause you're f-cking Black, and I hate Black b-tches, so I can't wait to kill you and your sister, you dumba-- b-tch."

TMZ was also told the reality TV star told the officer something to the effect of, "You hate white b-tches."

Smith was booked on two felonies—terroristic threats and willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer. She was released on bail the following day, and prosecutors are currently reviewing the case to decide if she will face charges.

Smith's attorney, Mike Hawkins, shared with TMZ that on September 30, Smith ordered a drink at the bar at The Roxy music venue while with friends before the show. She later stepped away from her drink to snap a photo with fans.

He added, "Shortly thereafter she has no memory of the events that occurred during, or after the concert. Hannah is deeply troubled by these events. She regrets any actions she took that offended anyone, including law enforcement."

Fans got to know Smith this past summer on Season 6 of Love Island USA. The bottle server made her entrance into the villa on the first day, partnering with Kendall Washington.

However, just eight days in, Smith found herself single when new contestant Nicole Jacky swiped Washington.

“I’m actually very happy that me and Kendall did end up getting to meet each other and being paired up with each other because we had so much in common,” Smith told Today.com in June. “With me and him, we were just like the goofy couple in the villa. We had so much fun and I really got to know him. And I can honestly say Kendall is a great guy. He is so genuine. Even though we didn’t end up together and our connection didn’t last as long as I wanted it to, I have nothing bad to say about him.”

Smith was eventually eliminated from the villa on Day 10 after struggling to forge a lasting connection with any of the other contestants.
