Sabrina Carpenter moved her friend Joey King to tears at a recent concert.

The 25-year-old "A Family Affair" actress expressed her excitement about witnessing the pop star perform during her recent tour stop in Chicago in an Instagram post on Monday, October 14.

In her post, Joey King shared a clip of herself dancing in the pit while Sabrina Carpenter performed "Please Please Please."

Joey King shared another video showcasing the singer's rendition of "Good Graces."

"I got to see my wife perform in Chi Town last night and I cried of course, she’s just the shortest and sweetest pop star I’ve ever seen," she wrote. "I might let her make me 'Juno,'" she said, referencing Carpenter's album title, "Short n' Sweet," and song "Juno."

She attended the concert with her four nieces as she sported a stylish pink ensemble, which included a mini skirt, a baseball cap, and a shirt emblazoned with the word "camaraderie"—a nod to Carpenter's song "Bed Chem."

She continued to praise Carpenter by sharing a photo of the two embracing in her Instagram Stories, accompanied by the heartfelt message, "I love you my brina. Perfect girl. Perfect show. Feel so lucky to watch you shine."

The actress also included several backstage photos featuring her four nieces and Carpenter, capturing the joyous moments of the night.

"I'm so happy for her, and I just can't stop singing 'Please Please Please' ... get out of my head," King previously told People Magazine. "It's so rude of her to make a hit like that. It's also so rude to make such an addicting music video."

She joked, "It's really rude to make me watch it six times at 2:00 a.m. when I want to go to bed.”

King flew to Chicago to treat her lucky nieces to Carpenter’s show at the United Center on Sunday, October 13. Instead of simply hanging out backstage, the actress joined the crowd of enthusiastic fans in the mosh pit, fully embracing the experience and having a blast.

Both stars, aged 25, share a history as Disney Channel alums but only recently became close friends after hitting it off at a charity event. “The funny thing is, we’ve always known each other and we’ve always been friends,” King shared with Rolling Stone. “But we didn’t become as close as we are now until about four or five years ago. We’ve known each other for over ten years.”

“Sabrina came over to me and was like, ‘Hi, I’m Sabrina!’” she recalled. “What’s funny is we weren’t always super close. For the first several years of our friendship, we would hang out like once every year and it was the funnest thing in the world, we don’t know why it took us so long to become as close as we are now.”

And this isn’t just a superficial showbiz friendship for the cameras — Carpenter even sang at King’s wedding to director Steven Piet in September 2023 and wrote via Instagram at the time, “My wife got married and I wept and wept. I felt so immensely lucky to be part of your special day. I love you both dearly, congrats on your love.”

At the ceremony in Mallorca, Spain, the multi-talented former Disney Channel star sang “Tjugonde” by Amason, a Swedish band — in Swedish.

Carpenter and King have since solidified their status as an iconic BFF duo in Hollywood, frequently sharing photos of each other on social media. The "Girl Meets World" alum even featured the "A Family Affair" star in her 2018 music video for “Sue Me."

“I’ve actually been talking to so many people about this recently because we could totally do a Tina Fey/Amy Poehler-style comedy. We have so much fun together. We had the best time making the ‘Sue Me’ video,” Carpenter told Pop Buzz at the time. “Maybe we just have to write it. Maybe we have to do the whole thing. It will be fun when it happens.”

It’s safe to say that these two share a friendship destined to last a lifetime.
