In a video posted online, Foxx was recorded speaking to a group of people in downtown Phoenix, sharing details about his health scare last year, which left him hospitalized and kept him out of the public eye for weeks.
The 56-year-old actor stated that on April 11, 2023, he had a "bad headache," which made him ask his "boy for [an] Advil."
He then snapped his fingers and stated that he was "gone for 20 days" afterward and "couldn't remember anything."
"So they told me I'm in Atlanta, they told me, my sister, my daughter took me to the first doctor," Foxx said. The actor then spoke to a woman beside him; however, what he told her was inaudible.
"Next doctor said, 'something going on up there," Foxx continued, pointing at his head.
"I won't say it on camera," he added while gesturing to the person videoing him, causing the other people to laugh.
Jamie Foxx And His Girlfriend Stepped Out For A Romantic Dinner
The 56-year-old actor has since made a full recovery from his health scare and was recently seen enjoying a romantic dinner date in L.A. with his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, per the Daily Mail.
Foxx was seen holding hands with Huckstepp as they left Catch Steak restaurant in the City of Angels before entering his flashy red Ferrari F8 and driving away.
The "Day Shift" actor kept things casual in an all-black ensemble, wearing a hoodie and matching joggers. He also sported white sneakers with a gray and black animal-print pattern and completed the look with dark sunglasses.
His fitness model girlfriend wore a tight-fitting, cropped mock-neck sweater with white stripes running down the sleeves. She paired it with matching skintight pants and patent leather platforms and carried a leather jacket and a polka dot purse in one hand.
The Actor Recently Walked His Daughter Down The Aisle
It comes after Foxx went through an emotional father-daughter moment as he walked his daughter, Corinne, down the aisle at her wedding to college sweetheart Joe Hooten.
According to the Daily Mail, Foxx and Corinne enjoyed a sweet father-daughter dance several months after she was forced to stay by his side at the hospital due to his "medical complication," that left him in a 20-day coma and rendered him immobile at the time.
Reminiscing on her wedding day back in May, Corinne told Access Hollywood that she was "hoping" Foxx could "get down the aisle without crying."
"I don't think he's going to make it! He's really excited, though," she said at the time.
Corinne and Hooten met while she attended USC, where she earned a degree in public relations, and he earned a degree in film & TV production.
After they got engaged in December, Foxx said they were "a perfect example of what being in love is... You care about each other's life, mental and physical... and you have each other's back."
