Sydney Sweeney's April Instagram share came at a difficult time for her. The 26-year-old had made headlines that month for seeing Father of the Bride producer Carol Baum say she isn't "pretty" and "can't act," but Sydney bounced back. Alongside delivering a clap-back via her rep, the actress showed off her good looks in an eye-popping IG photo, posing in a plunging brown bikini as she celebrated "tan lines" with her dog. Flaunting her bombshell curves, Sydney was both praised and critiqued as The Daily Mail covered her share, and it was in the outlet's comments that one fan said she's got a "body like Baywatch."

Spending time on the water with her dog, the Hollywood star showed a little sunburn, something she gave a nod to in her "good times and tan lines" caption. The post has now topped 3 million likes.

Also leaving likes were stars including actress Joey King and model Carmen Electra. Meanwhile, The Daily Mail shared the photo in the context of Sydney's biggest headline-maker at the time. In a cruel remark noting Baum's hateful comments, one user gained likes for saying: "That producer wasn't wrong though." Another said that Sydney has a "body like Baywatch," but their face comment wasn't flattering.

Fortunately, one fan praised the blonde, calling her "lovely and natural." Carol Baum made her statement while addressing students.

"I don't get Sydney Sweeney. I was watching on the place Sydney Sweeney's movie because I wanted to watch it,' referring to her hit film Anyone But You," she said, adding:

"I wanted to know who she is and why everybody is talking about her. I watched this unwatchable movie - sorry to people who love this movie - [this] romantic comedy where they hate each other." Asking her students to volunteer an answer, Carol also said: "Explain this girl to me. She's not pretty, she can't act. Why is she so hot?"'

Sydney kept quiet for a few days before delivering a response. Per her rep, the Armani Beauty ambassador shared: "If that's what she's learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that's shameful."

Sydney's Madame Web movie may have flopped this year, but the actress is arguably the most bankable under 30 in the industry.
