Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington's wife Talinda Bennington filed new documents in the singer's estate case for her late husband, showing he left over $8 million in music royalties and cash.

Bennington's music and songwriting credits are currently worth $8,140,719, according to the new filing.

In documents obtained by The Blast, the largest portion of the money listed is the current and future music royalties, worth $5.2 million.

There is also $1.5 million which is listed as Bennington's net share of publishing rights from songs he performed with the band. This includes, "gross royalty projections fro recouped and unrecouped accounts and termination rights," according to the filing.

There is also $1.3 million in "songwriter performance rights," which accounts for all the songs Bennington wrote for Linkin Park and others.

Lastly, "miscellaneous rights" is listed with the amount of $653.00, however it's unclear what that includes, as the only explantation is "community property."

The money listed in the new filing is just a portion of what was left behind for Bennington's wife and children. As we reported, the rock star had several homes and properties that will be accounted for separately.

The 41-year-old singer had been on vacation in Arizona with his family in 2017 before returning home and tragically committing suicide, leaving behind 6 children and his wife.
