Over a year after Erin Andrews and her husband, Jarret Stoll, welcomed their son Mack via surrogate, the couple is considering expanding their family once more.

Although she feels more comfortable navigating the process after enduring a challenging decade of fertility struggles, Erin Andrews admits to feeling anxious about embarking on this journey again.

The sports broadcaster recently shared with E! News that she is contemplating expanding her family, 15 months after the arrival of her first child.

When speaking to the outlet, the 46-year-old reflected on her experience of losing two embryos before discovering that their surrogate was pregnant with their son.

"It's crazy, because once you get back on the phone with your fertility doctor and you start talking about the journey again, PTSD all comes back of how crappy you felt, how numb your body gets, just the fear of loss," she said. "So, it's a lot. It’s a loaded thing."

Andrews also noted that her husband, 42, experienced his own emotional journey throughout the process, sharing that hearing him express his feelings was beneficial for her as well.

"Sometimes men don't want to talk about this stuff, but they're also feeling the feels, too," she said of her husband, whom she wed in 2017. "My husband was really, really great after we were going through more lows than highs, just being like, 'This sucks. This just isn't great. I feel really crappy, and I feel like a failure,' and that really helped a lot too."

Having navigated the challenging moments of their seven-year marriage, they’ve learned that honesty is key.

"You have to be really honest with each other," the sports broadcaster said. "You have to give each other a break. You have to have patience. It's taxing on your financials as well, which also brings stress to your marriage. It's not cheap. It's awful. There's nothing about the infertility journey that I would say is great, except your end product. When you are able to have the baby and you're like, 'Wow, you were worth it.'"

The Fox sportscaster and her husband, former NHL player Jarret Stoll, became first-time parents in June 2023 with the arrival of their son, Mack.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2017 after dating for five years, were candid about their fertility journey before welcoming Mack via surrogate. Before his birth, Andrews endured a decade-long IVF process and was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016.

“I have been trying to do IVF treatment for a while now, but sometimes it doesn't go the way you want it. Your body just doesn't allow it,” she said in 2021, adding that she wants to “be vocal and honest” about her story in an attempt to help others.

"Now that it's my seventh time, something just hit me. Why am I keeping this such a secret when this is just a part of our lives?” Andrews continued. “Instead of feeling ashamed, we need to give ourselves more love."

While it remains unclear if they will welcome a second baby, Erin Andrews said that if they decide to, she knows she'll lean on her close friends and family for support.

"Even though they didn't really know what I was going through, they knew how crappy it felt, and they were just really great, like, 'I'm sorry, welfare check,' and things like that," she said.

She also opened up about the challenges of raising a toddler while traveling across the country presents its challenges. With Stoll working in player development for his former team, the Los Angeles Kings, "they are "both in season at the same time" and so "it's a lot and you have to have help."

Erin Andrews added, "And I'm not shy about saying that. And you have to make sure that help works with you and your family and your lifestyle."

Andrews and Stoll welcomed their son, Mack Roger Stoll, via surrogate on June 28, 2023, with the baby weighing 7 pounds and 7 ounces.
